Agreed.
He is as green as hell and makes a huge amount of poor decisions in defence. In fact their entire backline is awful if Gutho is not directing them...they have leaked the same amount of points as us this year.
We need to keep him busy as much as possible so that he cant just stand there and organise them. Lots of grubbers in behind the line, run it on the 5th, kick early in the tackle count etc....
Throw him off his defensive game and their backline will crumble like they did v St George.
This game will be won by the team who outscores their opponent rather than who can stop tries being scored against them.
The score is likely to be high 30 odd to mid 30 odd.

Taulagi in defence is shocking as well . It’s why , if everyone remembers , a lot of us were like “meh” when he left .
Mason needs to really be on the ball with his numbers in defence , because the eels run never ending shape .
It can be really predictable , if we can frustrate them in defence , and cause mis timing , errors etc.
I honestly think we can get over them in the middle .
If we dominate the ruck , get to our positions early in defence , and Mason is accurate with his numbers , we can do a job on them .
It seems like a lot of ifs , but I don’t think it is .
 
Interesting game this one (obviously).
Most intriguing thing for me is to see how we turn up. For a very long time now, we let fans down terribly in games like this. It's very important we turn up tonight and change that. I'm not confident at all.

Also, if we do lose, I find it amusing that we can't even get the spoon quietly. We find a way to be in the most talked about game of the round just to highlight our failure.
 
It will be the last time the guys run out together as
a team 2, it's an emotional moment, need 2 channel it.

Exactly man. That's what spooks me when I think
about the game. But hey, I was confident about games
throughout the year that we had no business winning
so who knows. I've gradually become more confident
as the week has gone on & it's peaked to a crescendo
today when I got up. They'll want 2 win 4 each other
despite some of them going there separate ways
next year. Like you said, it's all pointing to a win and
the stars are aligning to finish the year with 3 wins
in a row, just the type of game we tend 2 not show up 4
