I would have thought with Luai and Turuva coming our chances are higher than that. Also, he’d be pissed that they underpaid him for so long.

Turuva is not a centre. But playing for us, on our level, on 2nd thoughts, you could be onto something...

Again it depends on roster availability but Matt Crocker from knights appears on the outer. Always thought he was a bit of a goer

The one thing I’ll say about Jack Bird is he’s a hell of a competitor! Has always been ever since his debut. Injury has let him down big time. But what u are getting is toughness, strong carries and someone who would never let his team down! Hopefully he stays injury free he will go great for us 🔥

Weve just lost 3 genuine first graders..iIm mean international/SOO players
Theyre all forwards
We need like for like replacements.or were gonna go backwards..again
weve got one prop so far..not quite he has the same credentials as Stefano...but a more than able substitute
Other than that,were heavily invested in the next crop of junior forwards,..and just aint seeing solutions
,particularly given the the KOE Cup results.
There are no standout forwards coming thru next cple of years
We need better than fringe first graders

Bugger. Why do we continue to get players at the back end of their career with a history of injuries ffs??

Because we currently have a squad full of kids who need some experienced blokes thrown in amongst them. Bird on only a 2 yr deal for $375k a season is good business

Bateman. Was long past being a first grader.Sukkar could replace him given a change Bird to lock I hope

I think he's good as gone imo. Lock is his position and he won't be unseating Carrigan and looks as though the Donkeys want to bring in some more middle experience (i.e. Christian Welsh) so he may feel vulnerable.

It'll be whether he wants to buy in to the Tigers like Hunt & Bird.

Sukker can replace Bateman? Just enlighten me a little. How many minutes of first grade has Sukker played and how many minutes has Bateman played? Whilst I have you - how is Bateman doing with Warrington? Did you watch the game the other night?

Im ok with Bird at that $$..hes a huge risk,but brngs a attitude and culture we really need.Competitor
But unless theyre young blokes on the way up,whose pathway is blocked (eg Williston)...we need blokes who will slot into first grade starting spots ..now

We've got a lot of guys who've been tapped and are taking up spots. If we are able to flick a couple of those guys there will be something that comes up in the off season.
