Favorite footy call?

Obviously we've heard the shout "Get'em on side" from the opening whistle; at interviews, full credit to the (pigs; boys; forwards); that was a hospital pass; or that pass ended in row 20...and so on.
What are some of your more memorable / original quotes, on or off the field, that you have heard? Do today's commentators lack the imagination of a Rex Mossop or Ray Warren, or are they even more creative?

Always remember Frank Hyde’s description of just about every attempt at conversion - if it’s long enough, it’s high enough and if it’s straight it’s there!

Chris Butler's call of "no escorts" prior to him and the Klown in the bunker awarding a penalty to the Cowboys for a so called escort.

One of my favourites because it is so rare that in the history of Rugby League such a call has never been made before or since that wonderful day, a day that we should never forget. 😡

Only remember it as i was watching with a bunch of qlders that origin.
Sure i was the only one supporting nsw at the uni bar that night
One of the greatest tries ever scored.
I didn’t make it home till after sunrise that next day…

My favourite call (or the one I remember best) was by the legendary Ron Casey calling a match between Newtown and Balmain at Henson Park.

Laurie Morashchi was playing centre for Balmain and George Ruebner was on the wing.

At one point Balmain swing the ball out to the backs and Ron calls "..... and the ball goes from Moraschi to Maroubra".

I liked Warren Smiths call when Souths scored 2 tries in the last minute to beat the Roosters. 2nd try was off the kickoff. He finished the length of the field call by saying "you can take me now I've seen it all".
Yeah that one came to mind when. I read thread title
It was a great game the scores fluctuating a few times.... With an unbelievable finish

IMHO, Peter Wilkins/Warren Ryan/Craig Hamilton ABC sports call and no one after them!
It is an insult to mention the name of any other game caller in the same sentence as that ABC's triumvirate!

Rabs reaction to Benji’s try 5 mins into the Saints prelim. ”And the crowd has absolutely erupted”. As someone who was apart of that eruption, I can honestly say that truer words have never spoken.

One of the funniest I have ever heard was Sterlo‘s reaction to Paul Carriage’s meltdown in the 98 Dogs v Parra prelim when the Dogs came back from 16 down in the final 10 mins. Carriage made some of the worst mistakes a player has ever made, and Sterlo was apoplectic.
