Flanno is not signing Bud while he has junior flanno. But he could be silly enough to think he can get a running 5/8 out of Doobie. I reckon their outside backs are going out to buy warm jackets if they do sign doobie, and the fullbacks better get ready for some traffic.

They'll need at least another 'front-line' half and probably another backup. Kyle has been playing some hooker too.
Losing Hunt and Amone is a bit much for them to not replace. Doubt they'll get Atkinson or Trindall at all, much less early like they're hoping for.
Doueihi or Bud should be a fair chance. (Hopefully).

Hunt's mutual termination with St George might see a few dominoes fall.
wouldn't surprise me if there's a few clubs that look to move certain players on to try and get him across.

It will certainly have a domino effect as when you remove someone on a 1m+ contract it has repercussions at a few clubs.Hopefully we become a beneficiary

Sexton or not, I get the suspicion they're looking to double-down on their success from this year and try and red-line for an immediate tilt at the premiership. Though, personally, I think they over-achieved in '24 and are more a mid-table team atm.
I wouldn't be surprise to see them dangle 2 years in front of him.
That being said, I can see a world where Broncos and Dolphins are legitimate options too, even if there's current cap issues at the former.

The question is, how much is Hunt worth now? He was on a million at the dragqueens, but is his honest current value that high? Probably not. But still the NRL and RLPA wouldn't let a player drop from a million to 500k just like that.
With Walker out maybe the Roosters have found a way to get long term injury cap relief. Can't believe the Dogs have a spare 750k lying around for Hunt. Broncos or Roosters odds on for Hunt i reckon. They find ways to move cash around.
