I give up, as I never expected in my lifetime that a democracy would elect a convicted criminal, let alone one that had already attempted to overthrow democracy.

Because democracy shouldn't be about a process, rather about candidates and elected officials offering policies that the majority of the electorate want.

They want policy results.
