Without talking about Trump or Harris or any particular policy, what seems to be happening around the world is people are rejecting career politicians and are voting for people that are not part of the political class or at least they are voting for politicians that have talking points in line with the average citizen and are willing to call out things that don't really make any sense.Gen Z are coming out for the GOP.
They are driving much needed change.
The left have gone way too far with their social crap.
They have embarrassingly covered up Biden's condition for the entirety of his term and then threw him to the gutter when they could no longer squeeze anymore use out of him.
The lawfare they have engaged in has been shameful.
They lie, and cover up and gaslight and mislead. This election is the chance to send a message.
It is going well so far.
I think the campaign landscape has changed also where they have opportunities to fully discuss their philosophy via long form podcasts and their own channels and platforms...this is quite new in the scheme of things. The more they talk, the more they are either loved or hated based on their ideas rather than 1 minute clips and sound bites or edited, short form TV interviews.
Trump and Farage seem to have uncovered a winning formula, but there's no denying people feel strongly about the issues they talk about.
In the scheme of things it is a huge wake up call to the political classes (even conservatives cough cough Britain) that ultimately they will get voted in, only if they are listening to the people and delivering what the public wants.
The left hasn't got the memo yet, but they'll work it out eventually and things may actually become more sensible.
Sadly for the US, Trump is either loved or hated...nobody has ever said he's just "ok". By nature of his existence, he invokes strong reactions and that isn't good for American society...there's not one Democrat that will ever concede anything positive about him before he invokes these strong feelings, but he is just a symptom of the really issue...people have felt they are not heard. Perhaps this is the circuit breaker needed to change politics for the better...the politicians serve us...not the other way around
