There was a level of concern when Tony A was ousted after the review that the new chair may not be committed to the findings. Given the three people who have been banned I would say that this is becoming more apparent. It's getting hard to believe that this organisation is capable of overseeing any success with Wests Tigers and if anything continues to keep us firmly placed at the bottom and vulnerable to clubs that are run with success as the motivator.

They were advertising for the independant board members positions only a few weeks ago through a recruitment agency for the Tigers.
Richo said it was taking so long because the legalities and formalities needed to go through lawyers and be agreed to before we could start looking. So the fact they started looking a few weeks ago suggests to me we should be fine, that the governance paperwork and agreements have been signed and we are now independant.

There is no one at HBG that has any skills that are valuable to WT.

We need the entire HBG board to dissolve itself, appoint new directors. Or sell the club.

You maybe right, for me I'm just happy it's finally getting sorted for us, imagine if these muppets from both sides of the boardroom were still trying to run the Tigers, you'd be better off folding the joint

Romero and Burgess are simply doing the bidding of Hagipentalis. They are disastrous for the Club. They only have their board positions due to holding debentures - and these debentures are totally lacking in transparency or due and proper process. The three directors banned are the ones who tried to clean up the Club administration and make it truly independent and professional. The ones banning them are the problem. Remember also Romero gave her word that she fully supported the recommendations of the independent review and would implement the recommendations rapidly. She has completely reneged on her word and has shown she is not a person whose word can be trusted. She and Burgess need to go. The Club will never succeed while they are there.

What you are describing is the Tail wagging the Dog … it isn’t going to happen

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. As legal as it probably is, this is the sort of crap that only sociopaths pull unless there is a damned good reason for banning them. It reflects terribly on those running the show, not those banned.

I worked somewhere where we were banned from talking to a sacked worker, even privately! These people are nobodies who think they're gods. Personally, I wouldn't feed em.
