That’s a major sponsor deal not 3rd party.I find this BYD Roosters sponsorship very interesting...
I'm pretty sure Nick Politis is the largest shareholder of Eagers Automotive who in turn are the largest retailer of BYD cars. I wonder if this is a conflict of interest in regards to 3rd parties and Roosters players driving around in BYD vehicles?
This is a far worse conflict of interest than Rich Digital (Shane Richardson's company) sighing a Queensland Cup player and coping conflict of interest articles for weeks.
Well you know what they say: you can't build your dreams, on suspicious minds.I find this BYD Roosters sponsorship very interesting...

If we had a major sponsor we'd know about it by now....I hope Richo doesn’t have to go back to Lee H and Brydens and ask him to stay on as a favour

Don't be nervousI know that we don't leak like we used to, but I'm getting a bit nervous and wondering about whether we actually have a major sponsor.🤔
Agree, even considering it’s not arms length. Just like our chairman handing Tigers $1m pa. Only difference , we didnt know what to do with it.That’s a major sponsor deal not 3rd party.
Same as when Benji and Robbie were all given Protons in 2006.
Why would it be a conflict of interest? Its a sponsor of the club. Like any other sponsor. Politis owned City Ford when they sponsored the Roosters. Players cars are included in the cap (over $20K).I find this BYD Roosters sponsorship very interesting...

Sounds like this could be a match made in heaven, BYD just as dodgy as the Roorters.Kind of glad BYD aren't our sponsor after watching this!!! 🙂
