Peanut and fish allergy

I played in dirt, ate grass, spent every afternoon in the backyard, and started eating chili's at 14 yet I developed an allergy to chili late in life.
So yeah , nah, Churchill may be incorrect

You can develop an allergy to food that you have always been able to eat before(it is garlic for me)I am also allergic to pennicillin since i turned 62 and i ended up in hospital because of it(rash and dangerously low blood pressure).I would never downplay peoples allergies as they can be life threatening and have seen a kid at school have convulsions after a wasp sting when i was about 7

Yep, exactly as I said, about 60 years ago Jad when you were 7, bee stings and hay fever, than along came the cotton wool peanut allergy, ingrown toenail Stef Utoikamanu generation.

A thank you for making that generation pampered privileged little princesses with only first world problems would be nice.
Really?
I’m nearly 70 and I have a 40 year old daughter who ate peanuts and peanut butter her entire childhood but could now die (and nearly has ) if she eats peanuts.
Plenty of people had allergies back when I was a kid and some had to deal with shit like polio and thalidomide if they were extremely unlucky.
Next you’ll be telling us how you walked 50 miles to school and back in the snow… carrying your brother. 🤣

Remember when Mbye almost died in Origin camp? I’m sure a few here probably think he just needed to harden up a little 🤔

Just like mental illness was a thing but never talked about now people say they have it to get attention strange world we live in
I was dyslexic (well i guess I still am), mum was too severely, but she said you learn differently, so work it out, do whatever it is you have to do to learn shit and don’t sook about it.

The only allergies back in the day was bee stings and hay fever.

People 'claiming' to have peanut allergies rose 20%+ from 2010 - 2017. Just guessing itll be about 75% in 2024. Why? Article says shit immune system now in kids (not allowed to play outside anymore eating dirt) and massive rates of Vitamin D deficiency in children these days (lack of sunlight and good food)...................also social media became a thing.
I got stung on the lip when I was a kid, it was a bloody stinger too.

You can't just say that people who aren't active or spend much time outside end up with serious allergies ...friend of my daughter plays every sport has severe allergy ...and then had to put up with kids sticking Snickers wrapper in her lunch box....just crazy stuff ....

I'd suggest doing a first aid course, but make sure it has the anaphylactic component. I do it every year. I've had to administer an epipen to an adult (severe seafood allergy) and, even though it was pretty scary to see how quickly they deteriorated, the training kicked in, and i was amazed at how quickly it worked, and they could breathe and speak again within minutes.
