NRLW 2024 season

Is anyone else a bit underwhelmed by this years squad?

It's basically the same as last year, which missed the finals, minus our best player Whitfield and a couple of new kids but no established pros or origin players.
Each year is a different competition
Hope is that they improve on last year
I have actually liked watching nrlw. It’s pretty raw like local club games but you can see the improvement year on year

Our issue last year was a lack of class in the backs. And we lost out best back and haven't replaced her. Our facilities for our nrlw team is much better than most clubs, yet we still couldn't/wouldn't sign anyone of note.

You could also say we lost Jess sergis the year before and didn’t replace her but were lucky in picking up the winger-(sorry forgotten her name). Was it dumb luck or premeditated
One thing is that there is more talent coming through the ranks in the women’s game as they can play through ages now and seem to be more chance of making it at a younger age
They probably suffer a little from the stigma of men’s team aswell
Would be nice to see them stay injury free and competitive this year

No tears here. She was the fullback right? We can do much better. Good news for myself. Maybe we can pick someone up with speed and agility. Thanks for the news.

Our NRLW have lost Bo Vette-Welsh from next year's squad. She's off to Newcastle. We can't seem to keep any of our quality women.
This is great news for us. She was a dead weight. Our biggest paid player try couldn't impact a match. She's solid but has struggled since the ACL. Looks slow and the game has gotten faster and more skillful. Surprised the knights would even go for her.

But, we also desperately need to sign 6-7 top quality players. Our roster stinks, we can have no quality.
