Yes with Mason off the bench. I'd play Bird at backrow if we can't get better. Latu is ready for the NRL now.

But ultimately, I think he will be playing 80 mins at half in reserves so he is ready to step in as soon as Luai or Galvin are injured/suspended/on rep duty. He's our next choice in both half positions and transitioning him to centre (a specialist position) may affect his progression.

I think he'll be in the NRL 17 off the bench every week. TDS offers no versatility off the bench in 1sts, he plays big minutes in cup so when Api is unavailable he's motor is developed to cover him properly

Api should not go 80.
We have 2 years of evidence to support that statement. We have many years of data before he came even here to support that statement.
TDS has to be on the bench as cover and should be getting 25 minutes per week. He has spent his time in reserves getting ready.
Latu needs to do the same in 25

I’ve had personal experience in both Lodge and Mam’s situations (so not coming from a high horse), and I feel very strongly that Lodge should not have been afforded the privilege of returning to our great game. But in saying that there has been a few others that should have been wiped out too, but as I said the NRL can’t make a moral decision.
A mate of mine did 3 years for pretty much the same as Mam, it will be interesting to see the outcome.

Yes, Phoenix and Archie are two to watch very closely over the next 2 years. Good prospects.

they’re gonna be fun to watch in SG Ball this year but we have to be patient with them. they’ve got a lot of growing still to do, from both a physical and developmental perspective.

Agreed, we have to find away to play our best players and I think both Latu and TDS need to be in the top 17 more often than not.Obviously injuries and suspensions will give the opportunities but I can’t see either of them being content to play in Reggie’s week in and week out

He's more than capable and holds his own... I've never seen him look out of his depth... The finesse and polished he needs in his game won't happen in reggies but will develop in 1sts
