I think the reason he's the poster boy for them all is because he,
1 - He Sticks out like a 3rd ball on Greyhound, and
2 - Because he has the Business expertise of one.

I've heard it said, You're only as strong as you're weakest link.
And poor ole Denny sets the Bar for the whole Organisation so very, very low....
On various levels.

I honestly know nothing about him. As far as I’m concerned, he could be the greatest administrator in the world, or the worst. I have NFI. I just see that hair. It’s hard for me to take him seriously. I’m sure he’s a nice guy though.

Funny how it is blatantly obvious to some and invisible to others....

1/2 the WT's board admitted fault, Stood aside and said lets get some new blood and better brains in here.
The other half said, Bullshit - We're killing it, Look at us Go!!....

Richardson (without him, we'd really know what rock bottom is) made it clear when he took tenure that if the re-structure didn't take place he wasn't interested in the position.
It seems they've wilted back then to give him time to ease in only to renege.

If he gets another offer, and walks - What do they do then?

He's been around for a very, very long time....

And you saw his performance at Cambo (I know you did)

How can you possibly reconcile going and selling the brand to Sponsors etc.
after putting that on right in front of them?

They will piss Richo off enough to watch him walk as he is to powerful for them and won’t take shit from them , Wade said Romero only supported him against her own will , she don’t like people with power as we can clearly see with the power grab at HBG , her and the clown Burgess are a disgrace and so are the other 2 clowns who are supporting her , flogs

Oh man. You mean when he was HT entertainment? He looked like a 10 cent Rod Stewart impersonator. That was also the night that Taylorball was at its absolute peak when we played the Cowboys and they lead 2-0 till about the 78th minute. Most boring game I have ever been to. Was also the game of Taupau’s infamous chip and chase, which was the highlight of the night. The Halftime entertainment could not have been any more fitting

There’s a scar on their forehead. As they get older it get hidden in the wrinkles and I’m pretty sure Botox hides the scar too.

His looks certainly don’t help similar to Hagipantelis with his fedora. I think some self-awareness about the way you present yourself is expected at that level.

Similar to criticism of Pascoe and his laid back attire. As an executive in a corporate setting, presentation and looking the part is a requirement.

From my perspective, I’m focusing on Burgess because he was parachuted back onto the board after agreeing to step down only a few months earlier. Apart from being disingenuous, this created turn-over and instability at a board level and didn’t allow sufficient time for interim board to implement the review recommendations in full.

The remarks about turning the club into the Wests Magpies were delusional and damaging. You can’t have a board member saying those things.

The complaint about being told he’s in the wrong corporate box is laughable (at best) and the fallout has created friction that has bled into the Wests Tigers and ultimately damaged the clubs brand further.

Lastly Burgess is by far and away the least qualified person on the Wests Tigers board. When you look at the required skills and experience needed to run a successful rugby league franchise, musician is certainly not one of them.

I agree he’s not the only issue. There’s a multitude of board members that have run the club into the ground since its inception. Since 2015/2016 all the Wests Tigers board members have performed woefully and Hagipantelis was disgusting.

However at least a few of them could understand it was time to step aside and pursue an optimal governance structure for the betterment of the club. It’s a shame people like Burgess and Romero still treat the club as their personal plaything and put personal gain over what’s best for the Wests Tigers.

I don't care to remember that game - It was as Putrid as I've ever seen....

Moses kicking for touch at the end of a set to wind the clock down when we were behind
(Hadn't scored a point all game) with about 10 minutes to go was the end of me....

I couldn't stay any longer after that.

Had all the 2005 Squad guys there that night and were celebrating the GF win I reckon....
Real celebration.

On the half time entertainment, It was worse than the game.... He was horrible
(Screaming like he was gargling lava) Flapping around like an ass hat...
Then went up and shared champagne and nibblies with the Corporates in his Magpies Scarf no doubt -
One can't just recover from that.
 
Are HBG part of the same DNA that can't even play nice with their very important family member at Macarthur?

If so, then heaven help us.

It's obvious they need help running a football club.
