Bold Predictions for 2025

I predict the Cowboys will implode. I don't see the momentum there anymore and they won't be making the finals.

There will be tension between Marshall and Luai. If not resolved the club will have to choose. I also predict Luai + Galvin does a lot better then Sezer + Galvin. (ok Duh)

I also reckon Haslier will be out of the titans by end of 2025. Either to take over Manly again or elsewhere.

LOL Marshall Luai conflict will upset a lot on here mate prepare to take cover.

I’ve also got the Cowboys imploding ala @crazycat. lost too much experience in the off season and it will hurt them immensely.

NZ are also going to struggle. despite the recruitment of JFH its going to be a net loss with Johnson and Tohu gone. similar story at Canberra with no Whitehead and Rapana.

Isaiah Iongi rookie of the year in a Parramatta side that is going to surprise a lot of people. I like what Ryles has done and a Brown/Moses halves pairing is the best in the comp on its day.

I’ve got a Brisbane/Melbourne GF pencilled in with the latter prevailing. Penrith to lose out in the Prelims.

as for WT, it’s hard to make a bold prediction. I think we’re the biggest swing team in the comp. right now I’ve got us about 11th.

We set a new record for most sin bins in a season breaking the old record in round 10

Benji goes to Fiji for a holiday and doesn't return

Luai retires to become an influencer

We bring back Sheens, Pascoe and The Fedora to rejuvenate hat sales

A consortium led by Brooks buys HB Group for $2

Denny Burgess' wig solves global warming and world hunger

Mate your avatar is provocative maybe change to Richo.

I predict that the team will play a rejuvinated brand of football with flare in attack, much more controlled discipline and we see the younger guys mature as NRL players...
Lets face it if these blokes as well as Benji dont learn from the mistakes of 2024 and prior, then there is absolutely no hope for our team and club...
Lets pray we finish at about 10th/12th and show improvement right throughout the club from team to admin...👍

Let's hope so if not, Richo will have a lot more recruiting to do.

Totally agree with you mate, however what gets me the most is they dont seem to learn over the years, same old same old gets boring after awhile and we have the basis of a fantastic NRL club and team if only they all get it together and be on the same page...
We have a great brand, great members and a fantastic fanbase...

We haven't had the injection of players of the caliber we have now TT green shoots in attack last season and the influence of new recruits from good systems on defense surely this is the turn around year. If not, then the coaching staff will be lead to the gallows.

I predict we are all going to have smiles on our faces more often than not this season. We will see significant improvement, more wins but will just miss the finals.

Reminds me of my Washington Commanders (aka Redskins) side in the NFL, new recruits and some positive direction this year, finished the regular season 12-5 after 2 decades of mediocrity.

Big improvement not impossible look at the dogs.

Have a go at those two smug DH’s.
I wonder wear their members scarves are now?
There are many things you can do with a scarf, including:
  • Wear it: You can wear a scarf around your neck, shoulders, or head for warmth, fashion, or sun protection. You can also use it as a headband to keep hair out of your face.
Use it as a belt: If your scarf is long enough, you can use it as a belt.
  • Use it as a picnic blanket: A large scarf can be used as a makeshift picnic blanket.
  • Use it to wrap a gift: You can use a scarf to wrap a gift.
  • Repurpose it: You can repurpose old scarves into tablecloths, bed skirts, wall hangings, pillow covers, or bandanas. You can also use them to decorate handbags.
  • Use it with a baby: You can use scarves with babies to help develop their skills. For example, you can sway scarves with music to encourage self-regulation skills, or toss them back-and-forth to develop fine motor skills.
  • And did I mention the amazing colours ........
