Years ago we use to go to a Italian restaurant on parramatta road Granville near car yards , park at rear , the family use to do their own olives , we got them with crusty bread for entree every time , they were unreal

I wasn’t really forced to eat anything. I loved veggies as a kid. I ate pretty much everything except pumpkin. Which I still don’t eat. Bit different but I was on Tegretol from the time I was 9 till 13. I can still taste that stuff. Pretty rancid.

I was discussing this thing I’d seen at the deli with my uncle saying there’s a thing at the deli that has all the scraps of meat in a rectangular jelly loaf, and my pop says “don’t hack on brawn, I use to make my own brawn during the war.”
They still make it! I don’t get why, it’s not war time. Who’s eating that tripe?

I am allergic to this post.

Mum use to force me to eat it until I explained how I eat my veg just not pumpkin crap and unsweet potato and that she could give me extra of any other veg to make up for it and I would eat it all.
I was about 10, I never ate pumpkin for breakfast again, and she never forced me to eat anything I didn’t like, but I had to try it more than once. Fair deal we cut I reckon.
