It'll be hard to watch the drop in standard from the World champions to the next game of average Joe's from the NRL.

Have said it for a while. He would have been a great signing for us because he knew how to score tries and could play every position in the backline very well.
29 this year, but he'd do a good job from 1-6 for an NRL team in 2025.
Handy player on the right money.

I think he could play centre , a spot we are very week , French has loads of speed and adjilty moves well and could play wing , def not in the halves as we got a few

French has had a go at NRL and struggled.
He is playing in the correct competition.
Leave him be.

Just because he kills it in the halves doesn't automatically equate to him killing it in another position

He knows he's on a good thing over there and there is no way he would come back to the NRL unless he was offered a fortune, why ruin a legacy that he has created in the English Super League.
People seem to forget he couldn't get a run in the NRL with Parramatta towards the end of his time here and was a regular playing for Wenty.
Exciting player to watch when he is playing at the correct competition level.

Well said. The attacking focus and lack of defence suits his game to the ground. There’s nothing wrong with that and no need to change it.

Good team, but best on planet earth is a stretch.
If Penrith were able to play them when both teams were at their peak,
both hitting their straps say around September, your assessment may be a little different, unfortunately that won't be happening.
Not saying it wouldn't be a good competition but would probably be a much better spectacle than what we have seen so far today.
Hoping that the Penrith vs Sharks game is much more competitive because from what we have seen so far today I can't see anything that the American audience would get overly excited about.

Yep Valandys needs Penrith and Cronulla to go to war.
The Super League game likely entertained them as there was some great attack.
The Raiders game less so as Warriors didn’t show up.
This Test match has the crowd almost silent…they’re bored.
In the future we should have the Superleague GF teams, the women’s State of Origin, and the top 4 from the previous seasons NRL.

If they insist on a women's game it should be the first game played.
That won't happen though.
Agree with the Women’s SOO, however think you need to give all NRL fans a chance to go the the Vegas game. Top 4 from previous year doesn’t always mean more competitive games

I think the format may be reviewed before next year. I’m doubtful there’ll be a women’s game next year unless it’s between 2 better matched teams.
The English experiment certainly bought some more fan involvement and will continue.
And will the Wests Tigers be invited, and will they go ? I can certainly see Luai loving Vegas !
Richo has stated he’s got no interest in asking the NRL to go to Vegas. I doubt we’ll be apart of it as long as he’s here. Although I do agree with him that going over there is a waste.

Is that because of our lowly status ? I would imagine if the NRL heirachy thought we should go, we would, irrespective of what Richo thought. Maybe if we have an improved season it could be revisited( and possibly be a players incentive ).
Or is Richo worried about us giving up a game in the Campbelltown corridor ?
I think Richo can say no if the NRL asked if we wanted to go, I don’t think it would be due to our status but he sees the whole concept as a waste of time and resources, which even if that’s not the reason why for him personally, it’s pretty much what he said was why he’s not interested. Magic Round is a success compared to Vegas.
