I remember the crap WT coach we had a few years ago, I think his name is McGuire?
He is doing really great now! He has cattle that do what is asked, SOO and Broncos seem to know how to follow instructions.
Who is to blame when the players don't play to the script, or are just to slow, or forget it's a team game, too young or just not at NRL level?.
Hard question as to answer with a lot of variables at play.
Need to be close to the action to have any clues what's going on and who is just not up to it.
Stuffed if I can figure out which cog is out of whack ATM? But it needs to be fixed ASAP.

I had all the hopes Madge could work it out of them as well.

Bullemore would be huge. KPP over priced for our needs. The Riki on the list isn't Jordan, but that got me excited for a second.
Laybutt haven't seen much.
even Morrin > than Tumeth, Matamua, K Laulili etc... 25 games for the dogs last year... would Seyfarth or Twal have got that many runs....not sure

I had high hopes with Madge but he was in his 4th year here and we got worse each year. We all know he was a good coach with good players (kiwis, SOO) but he couldn’t improve average players.

We can't have Twal and Seyfarth both in our starting 17 that's for sure, they both are good clubmen but that's it. We need hard running back-rowers that break or bend the first line that will get us on the front foot, they do not do this at all.

I kinda agree, though I think you can have Twal at 10 and Seyfarth on the bench, but you definitely can't have them as 2/3s of your starting backrow

Madge ball working well with a quality squad and watched Taylor ball working well with the Bulldogs.
Coaches can only do so much if the quality is not as good as your opposition - you will get found out - aka Trent Robinson's decimated Roosters.
Benji will be Gonski if we don't show some improvement but with or without him we have a long way to go to be anywhere near the top clubs.

Benji is big on Pole.

Hell he starting most weeks I'd say.
Flashy prop.
Personally think he's more suited to the impact bench role but Benji isn't going that way.

I hope Benji is not that rigid and can identify flaws that need to be addressed.

I’m with you Demps, he’s a bench prop (at this stage), having him and Hunt in the bench would be good, but we need an experienced run in prop that has both A and D, preferably with experience, and preferably with rep experience. Anyone know if there’s one available?
Maybe start at the back of the A-K yellow pages book.

Its all in the play the ball speed. Somebody put the stats up the other day. It was only May that that was on the same page as the Knights forwards. There's nothing harder to defend then someone coming at you quickly before youve had time to reset and count numbers and that will never happen when the play the balls are so slow.

Twal could play ball alot quicker. He likes to stand up straight and almost looks the tackler in the eye and then play the ball.

Could be a chance for a mid season signing.

How about Sloan.. I know his defense isn’t up to scratch but does provide speed and x-factor we need in the outside backs

Twal could play ball alot quicker. He likes to stand up straight and almost looks the tackler in the eye and then play the ball.

He isn't the worst offender.

The whole team lacked the ability to find their front.

This significantly slowed our playbthe ball and killed momentum.

Need better wrestling

Give it some air. If there already was a conversation; you would expect no one to rush into an announcement for fear of public backlash.
He may be able to start training with a club shortly on a previous train and trial contract that was recently upgraded to a development contract.
