That's the way I see it,particularly if they beat us at we which seems to be a givenGalvin gone IMO with the Brown announcement.
Few reasons on this:
1 IF he wanted to stay, he would have committed already and got more money for 25/26
2 With Brown get 1.3mil for 10 years this will make Galvin and his camp want over 1mil + which he is not worth it.
I think Knights are mad but for us to keep Galvin now we will have to be over 1mil and that's madness.
Eels , Dogs, Roosters will be the main players to snap him up and I really don't care which way it goes tbh. Richardson has so far been delivering a competitive roster which his camp wanted so balls in his court.
The question then is at what price point do we decide that he isn't worth it. You need to look at what are your other options and for us that's Latu Fainu, also what does paying big money for Galvin mean to the rest of your roster especially with Laui already on over $1m.Chammas stating on 100% footy Galvins camp and manager in no hurry to sign. As expected manager has told clubs to have the chequebooks ready.
Also did say that didn’t mean Galvin wont stay.

TonightWhen was this?
Also can’t believe we let onitoni large go when we didn’t have to - for galvin with no guarantees he stays

Parra is just speculation. Gus sat there stone faced when Chammas mentioned the Dogs might also have a crack now that Gould has mended his rift with Isaac Moses.Duno why he would be running to leave us to join Parra, make it make sense
I mean if he was going Penrith, Storm I would understand
Looking at parra’s roster, there isn’t even a single player I would swap him for
They’ll be bottom 4 for the next few years at least
Seriously? In his few Hardee's so far this season Galvin has shown zero playmaking ability along with zero threat to the line. Second year syndrome? If he's to remain in the halves he better start showing it soon
Issac Moses would love nothing more than to pair Galvin and his nephew Mitch up at Parra. In their eyes Moses, a natural 7, compliments Galvins game better than Luai who is still really a 6 playing 7. Mark my words Mark O'Neill would also derive great pleasure in "stealing back" their local Junior...for my money Galvin is as good as gone.....face the facts Richo and BenjiChammas stating on 100% footy Galvins camp and manager in no hurry to sign. Thats because last year Latu was hamstrung with an injury, this year the club is content to turn him into a 7 or a utility, when he really is a running 6 and thats his strength (why play him away from what he is good at??) . Bite the bullet Benji and annoint Latu as our long term 6 and watch him and Luai florish. Galvin should be our 13That's the way I see it,particularly if they beat us at we which seems to be a given
Wasn't concerned, but yet to see anything out of Latu tbh..
I can guarrantee you when Chammas was talking Galvin on 100% footy, Gus had a massive boner under that desk....Gus wants Galvin bad...Parra is just speculation. Gus sat there stone faced when Chammas mentioned the Dogs might also have a crack now that Gould has mended his rift with Isaac Moses.
We’ve tried multiple times to extend and increase his current deal which he has refused. That means his next deal should surely make up for the low contract he is currently on. We should take advantage of this over this year and next but front loading a few of our recruits so that more cap money is freed up for either Galvin or any other half they comes on the market, or Latu if the growth is there. Prehaps Haywood could become a long term 6 for us if not Galvin. The question then is at what price point do we decide that he isn't worth it. Close to home - still a kid - family have a connection to the club and no doubt the money will play a major part.Duno why he would be running to leave us to join Parra, make it make sense

Why would you want to go to Parramatta there a basket case 46 to 6 at halftimeClose to home - still a kid - family have a connection to the club and no doubt the money will play a major part.
Moses influence - manager and player also a big factor.
Even if he signs a lucrative 4 year deal and the club is struggling he still is only 24/25 and can head to a stronger club with plenty of career time left.
I can see why they will be an option at this point if they offer a contract.
Exactly! How dumb are we!!When was this?
Also can’t believe we let onitoni large go when we didn’t have to - for galvin with no guarantees he stays
Your right, but contrast it to.Galvin’s game wasn’t great, but we need to remember he’s only 19. He still has so much to learn and he might need a game or so out of first grade this year, which is where Latu will come in.
I also think that having a debutant and 19 year old hooker playing didn’t really help Luai or Galvin. Newcastle were all over Galvin every time he got the ball; with api there’s always a threat at 9, which frees up the halves, gives forwards steaming on to ball more space.
Galvin gets a couple of fifth tackle kicks in to the in goal and we win. Api plays and we score a close range try via May or Hunt while we’re up 8 nill and we win. Mason doesn’t drop that bomb and we probably win.
Frustrated to lose, but I think saying that we’re going to have a terrible season or Galvin isn’t the choice for five eighth is a little premature.
