Loved his quote this week that he knows he is not ready to be an 80 minute NRL player (especially in defence) & is happy to bide his time and learn behind Api.

Not suggesting that sentiment is any indicator of his likelihood of re-signing - but it displayed a level of maturity and self-awareness that has already been demonstrable in some efforts/decisions in the past two games and will serve him well throughout his career.

I said it during the week . The game will be won and lost around the ruck and the middle . We’ve allowed too many quick play the balls and second phase , and allowed their little men room with retreating defenders .
We’ve got to dominate the middle . Losing the ruck is killing us .
On a positive note , it nought we were well and truely off the pace I. That first half and to be o my behind by 6 points is something to build on .

There was a point where I thought we were dominating towards the end of the first 20 but at times the Sushi have dominated us since then. Good to see we have fought back, albeit with a little luck.

From memory it was $$$, he actually re-signed with WT but around same time of signature he received a better offer from elsewhere and WT wouldnt increase $$$ but would not stand in his way if he wanted to go. I think the other offer came in during the cooling off period?

Galvin in attack is opportunistic. But hes a young Benji Marshall.

Centres are still a problem but when that first try was scored against us at least Toa took a player out. If you go up take someone. Lot of crap centres go up and miss the player and the pass..

We definately need May. We.need.a.right 2nd rower and another from rower. Like the transition of Sione but he needs two years.

No they didn’t ! We had Simpkin and liddle when both had huge raps on them . QLD and NSW schoolboy 9s in their age group . Plus at the time , little Marshall was still trying to make it at 6 . I
