Just finished watching the replay.
All in all, very good performance from the boys especially being down and roaring back to totally dominate the last part of the second half. I will hold my hand up and say I expected us to fold again based on seasons past, but glad to eat crow and for us to prove me wrong.
Our resilience, fight, and general team cohesiveness, is a beautiful thing to behold so far this season.
Injuries are a slight concern, but even still: Feeling very good about our start to the season(Even though yes should be 3-0 🙂 )
We are better than the Warriors and hopefully can show that.
Those numbers are becoming his norm. Maybe you don't notice him because its just expected. Was curious about Terrels numbers as. I noticed him less. 187m and 42 tackles. Im scared.
Thought Slater retired.Apparently you can ninja kick when catching the ball now
Dolphins look much fresher - played on Thurs last week - we played Sunday in 38deg.
and he wonders why he's not the coach anymore.Kevin Walters ' They keep kicking to to the corner to Skelton it's a tactic that's working'.
Meanwhile Skelton has made every catch and run plenty of metres. Bloody hell
I think he is the one that Benji once said had all the talent. There was another brother...
Jordan.
He looked the goods.
Went and played touch football and kinda vanished.
I love how he's being played. I think he comes off just as precaution and in crucial moment could stay on and play the full 80 if needed. I don't like when he's off the field. Rock solid tackling and strong running. I'm nervous for the 10 minutes he's off the field. He also has his best moments near the end of the half getting free and offloading against tired defenders. And I want him setting the tone at the start of the half. His combination with TDS and Hunt is our best period in matches. Keep it as it is for sure, it gives us ultra consistent performance throughout the match. He will be in Origin this year - if Payne wasn’t playing like he was he’d be close to best middle in the game along with Tino. I reckon Benji should use him slightly differently - play first 30-35 at really high impact and the back on at 45-50 to finish off
A centre/winger and a srf before the weekend would be great.I’m hoping Richo can add more class to the squad with two spots available and Olam possible retirement. Throw in Taylan May, Bullemore, Cobbo and let’s rock.
Now if we had signed may and he had played nsw cup for two weeks , he could play on the wingSkelton likely to be out. Who would you replace him with? Staines or Faatape seems the logical choice, and see how Luke L goes in reserves next week and how long he will take to try first grade again.
Hope he doesn’t make it , I want him to just play for us . Just been greedy 😳He will be in Origin this year - if Payne wasn’t playing like he was he’d be close to best middle in the game along with Tino. I reckon Benji should use him slightly differently - play first 30-35 at really high impact and the back on at 45-50 to finish off
Every time Herbie got the ball I thought the team was on tilt. He had an arm free, or it just took 3 players to get him down. Got to admit I thought he walked off the mark a few times … but nonetheless I’d love to have him in our team lolHerbie is a weapon. Watched him warm up - an impressive athlete. Best player for the Phins. Bit of a shame Toa didn’t back up last weeks effort.
Gilbert seems a bit of a loser too… screams at luai when he dropped the ballBostock has become most despised player. Loved it when Galvin gave him some back. Feins injury and then gets up like nothing has happened.
