I don't think Moses will let Galvin accept a 5 year 5ml deal,
They have seen what Brown is getting from Knights,
And They know Galvin is better than Brown,

And we have Makasini coming along very soon,
And if he is as good as we are being told,
more big money needed we will not have.
So how do we afford any decent forwards.

Wow I didn’t know that. So potentially we will have a 18 year old on $500k Galvin only 20 on $1 million & Latu also 20 on over $500k. Talk about investing in the youth lol, they all have big potential just have to hope it all works out with injuries, off field dramas etc & the future looks bright

I’m not so sure, that PNG team is going to have to pull something out the hat to get a true marquee signing. No doubt it would be Cleary on the top of the list

Yeah we signed two speculator poms and arguably one of the greatest all-time Wests Tigers players.

Prior to WT, Balmain and Wests both had a pretty storied history of English imports, and funnily enough several of those English players played for both Balmain and Wests. It's not something I'd stop looking at.

Not exactly, because the Kumul team signings are apparently going to have a personal tax incentive to lure players over? So they won't need to pay as much for the player to keep more money in his pocket.

My issue with all this $$ figures being thrown out there is the matching with actual experience vs expectation. Wasn't it said (by Sheens?) an first grader can be said to be experienced at 50 games. These guys aren't at the 50 games mileage yet. That's the conundrum with Galvin pressing for $$ before that stage.

I thought Makasini’s deal was around 350k a year for 3 seasons (1million in total)?

yep. Roosters offered more than us but he wanted to stay.

he’s on a development deal this year worth $80k. he’s then on approx $460k a year for the next two.

Certainly not part of the Tigers universe that's for sure, in regard to the top 30 why was Saukuru signed, seen nothing of him yet or does he need time or just another waste of a spot.
