People have suggested we don’t sign a young second rower because it will block the path of this guy. I don’t care how good he is, we shouldn’t be planning around any Moses managed players. Is Godinet supposed to be leaving
Didn't he became a player manager as well at one time along with Tyran SmithSolomon Haumono
I live in hope that Richo and Benji expected this development and have it coveredCorrect….and as I said before, the allegations against the club have no legs…..the posts by Luai and Tito were done on THEIR social platform. Nothing to do with the club….this is a ploy by a desperate Galvin camp to get an early release….remember, ANYTHING that comes from the Galvin camp has Lachlan's endorsement
Yer I know but we are trying better with Sam to get him one on one. Latu will add also be better with this.We dont do that real well either to be truthful
Ready is the strange one, last year Buzz was hammering him because of his close relationship to Richardson. Now he's all onboard the Isaac Moses train, though I'm sure he and Isaac are mates, I wonder if since last year he had a falling out with Richo. I liked Ready, I thought he was objective. But on this it's all been the Moses hype train. Wonder what happened.I tried finding who Walters was managed by, but kept getting dead ends.
But Elias, woodsy and ready all sing the same tune, and it’s pretty disgusting to watch.
The clubs got time to convince a few if they want to stay, to start looking for new representation. After all the actions of their current manager are having a detrimental affect on the club and team they're playing for and as a result in their current opportunities for success and his actions for one client are at the detriment to the rest of his clients at the club and in the first team. Time to blacklist Cove Agency. Is Godinet supposed to be leaving
This is brilliant, takes away the bullying narrative and screws Mises and Parramatta over. If Galvin refuses the trade till the contract ends its pretty much a death sentence to the bullying allegations. My thoughts on this Galvingate is we loan/swap him to any club………. Just not parramatta #uk them and tell said club you got him for 18 months
Yes I believe he only just re-signed with us, including moving into the top 30 in 2027.Sorry mate I'm not following you. Godinet is managed by Moses aswell isn't he
Everyone has wraps on him Vicious, I know your into the lower grades and things, is he that good.Yes I believe he only just re-signed with us, including moving into the top 30 in 2027.
He was a beast playing Harold Matthews in 2024, but I don’t think he’s handled the step up in age groups all that well so far this season.
He has good aggression and leg speed in his gane, but I doubt he would weigh 90kgs just yet, so is struggling with his lack of size.
If he is to progress to NRL he would need to be extremely fit and become a high energy, fast and aggressive style of back rower ala Briton Nikora.
Last year he was very close to the Wests Magpies best player in Harold Matthews with his extra speed and aggression for a forward, but being very much a lightweight forward, he will need to work extremely hard to become a genuine NRL prospect.Everyone has wraps on him Vicious, I know your into the lower grades and things, is he that good.
Turuva’s was on his private chat group. Luia is on record saying his post was in solidarity and support of the coach. As are the senior players who also waded in to show support of Benji when his coaching ability was questioned by Moses’ camp. That's my thinking as well right, it's just a ploy to try and string arm the club into releasing him. In order for the club to be done for bullying it would have to be proven within reason that the club knew the posts were going to be posted prior or the club directed the posts to be posted by the players. How could that be proven. If Tiruva goes and says I just posted it on my own and didn't tell anyone anything, noone told me to do it, what can the club get into trouble for. We've organised security for him at Lidcombe oval tomorrow. I don't see how there is any merit to any of this. But I'm no lawyer I'm sure someone here would know much more than me.
I agree. I reckon they highlighted Galvin as a target the minute they realised the gap of not having Gutherson around.Galvin would actually be a really good fit at Parramatta and I could see him really lifting them. He's the exact sort of dominant high involvement running 5/8 they'd need alongside Moses, and he can stay on his preferred left side. I don't think moving to the eels would be a bad move for him at all. He's a much better fit for them than Brown. Brown sort of has a Luke Brooks feel about him, just a bit too passive.
I don't think Galvin fits as comfortably in our system and with Latu available for us many were already calling for him to move to centre or 2nd row (when he learnt to tackle) to make him fit better.
Not saying I like the way any of this has been handled, but I can see why eels would have more appeal to Galvin if his family really loves that club and he's looking at where he can best fit with his style of footy, despite the eels' woes at the moment.
Good point. We should extend it out to a 4 team trade involving Thompson to the Dogs and get someone from the dogs, maybe Joseph O’Neil or a Tiatus Clay from their team below to fill our halves void.If we’re signing KPP for next year I’d lock him up quick so Moses and Parra don’t think they can do the 3 way trade and give him to us now for Galvin.
Use Galvin for someone else.
Why would Bud do that?Had a thought which I posted in another thread, should we consider released Galvin if the other club agreed to take Bud on full freight for the final 2 years of his contract (approx $500k pa)? Possibly a player coming to us as well.
Or we pay half of buds wage and keep Galvin as our backup. He’s only on 350k ish top in buds money at it would be like we are paying Galvin 500-600k. I’d be happy with that.Had a thought which I posted in another thread, should we consider released Galvin if the other club agreed to take Bud on full freight for the final 2 years of his contract (approx $500k pa)?
