LIVE GAME Round 9 vs Dragons

Live Game Discussion
He saw what we all did, his side were the better team, but didn’t ice their chances.
Happily, we have been taking ours lately and that’s a huge positive.
I dunno...i think we were much better than them in the first half...with the help of superior possesion....i predicted the game would swing if possesion evened up...we see it so often in many games
2nd half another story

Tonight’s thoughts;
Galvin can’t tackle
Cooper Cronk wears lipstick 💄
Charlie Stains deserves to stay in top grade
Brent Naden is too loose, come back Starford
Jerome is by far the greatest buy in WT history

Lastly how good is it to be in the 8
Apart from Luai as best buy (the Bunjil early days for me), 100 percent agree

Some other observations:

1. Twal was good again. He’s been a bit under the radar this year.
2. Defence wasn’t good.
3. Bula has great long range speed as seen tonight. His acceleration is only average though imo.
4. If we keep using TDS the way we have been we are better off with someone else on the bench.
5. Sam Fainu has been whacking blokes in defence the last couple of weeks. He is rounding into form.
6. We are two forward injury/suspensions away from getting a big drop off.
7. Richo’s signings, soon to be announced, will be interesting. A couple more good additions and we could be right in the mix next year.

Some bad misses tonight though mate, his defence was looking better before this game.

Should be easy for him to find motivation to do better against the storm so on to next week we go
11 min s into the 2nd ?? , he did a knee crawl as the ref declared held and defenders were peeling off , an bounced to his feet - were there is smoke

Elaborate?

Personally thought he was a passenger out there tonight. Less pick-me nonsense than previous games but didn't contribute positively really in any stand out way.

He's an ordinary player currently.

I felt his effort off the ball was telling tonight. A number of times he would usually try to contribute in covering up defensive issues from others that tonight he didn't try to do. He looked miserable and nearly in tears in the sheds after the game. I think we have issues with him over the next few weeks. It may just all be getting ti him and as a kid I get that. I'm not attacking him by any means.

I agree. The first half we were all over them. We switched off to start the second half which has been a bad habit that has developed. Luckily we have more resilience and have managed to fight back, but once we fix our starts ti the 2nd half we will improve a lot

the missed tackles were something like 35 to 14 and the line breaks were 10-2 against …amazing they won the game with those stats
