Sure we lose a bit with no To'a and Staines yardage game sucks, but we're still a better team IMO.

Actually think Staines speed will be useful today. He'll be in for at least one.

Are we equal wins with last year only 9 rounds? Definitely 2 points we take and run. Such a bad defensive game I think we improve on with better bench rotation and T’oa and Skelton back

IMO May needs a spell around the 25-30 min mark to bring Hunt on and loosen up the opposition middles

True, but just like knights and warriors were against us! Ugly wins are good lots of top teams have them, especially against us!

Another gritty win despite playing a poor second half. And a slowish start. These are the types of wins that get you in the top eight. There was a period in the first half I thought we started to play with an identity with our spine connecting well. Unfortunately our intensity dropped in defence and it ended up quite a lucky win, will take the 2 points. Terrell May, MOM.

Agree. Have look at Munster after most games, shaking his head and looking disappointed. Anyone suggest he’s done with things at Melbourne. LG might just have been having an appropriate reaction to his and the team’s performance. He wasn’t at his best tonight and the team got away with one.

Some other observations:

1. Twal was good again. He’s been a bit under the radar this year.
2. Defence wasn’t good.
3. Bula has great long range speed as seen tonight. His acceleration is only average though imo.
4. If we keep using TDS the way we have been we are better off with someone else on the bench.
5. Sam Fainu has been whacking blokes in defence the last couple of weeks. He is rounding into form.
6. We are two forward injury/suspensions away from getting a big drop off.
7. Richo’s signings, soon to be announced, will be interesting. A couple more good additions and we could be right in the mix next year.

Are we trying to push da silva out of the club? He is being mis managed right now. In the first few rounds we brought him on with 10 to go and he changed momentum when the forwards are tired. We had no spark in the second half. Api was gassed and had his leg strapped. What is Benji trying to prove ?

Luai is THE big change from previous years...total involvement in every set,and constantly coaching others
Been a littlle disapointed in his attack.but has more than offset that with his other attributes

I love api , but he needs a rest . Look at what Liddle did to us with his pace . Why aren’t we utilising de silva to do the same .
