Think people going a bit hard at Naden, like others have said more of a winger than centre.
Toa- hit and miss with him, hands like feet at times but has been in good form of late.
Staines - great finisher with a line open, but lacks consistency he’s in a contract year so may play better. But doesn’t do enough in other areas for me, needs to play better with more consistently.
Faatape- defensive issues but loves a meat pie and is an attacking weapon.
At the moment Doueihi and toa start the others are backups. With Skelton out Staines gets the nod this week but has to be consistent week in and week out to keep this position. Otherwise naden gets the nod we need to have the competition for spots and players performing.
I don’t bring back Skelton and Latu while we are winning, let those hamstrings have as much time to repair as possible.

Against the storm, Id be playing bird in the centres for defensive reasons... Staines on the wing.

Faatape will get found out too easily IMO.

I'd argue Bird is just as bad defensively if not worse. He's not a first choice centre anymore, only plays there if there's injuries during the game

Reading this thread I thought the waiders had touched them up, it’s was only 2 points. And those thinking the storm are average this year, they have score over 42 in 4 games and started with a half century.

We shouldn't try to either.

Our middles have been amazing, probably one of the best in the comp. We shouldn't do anything different to what we have done this year. Play our game and try to contain their speed on the flanks.

We will have to scramble a lot this game and Bula's communication at the back to get the right numbers is too important.
