Regardless of how shady Gus might have acted, he and Ciraldo would have a very clear and direct plan. It looks like Mahoney will be the casualty. And not just because someone has to make way, it seems calculated that they see him as a liability that will cost them a big game on account of being an idiot. And Hayward is a better player anyway. And if he goes to 9, it opens up a spot on the bench.

I agree with much of that, although would add that Mahoney is a better hooker than Hayward. Despite all his grubby nonsense, the bloke has a great pass off the ground.

I think it will blow up, because of the "too many cheifs, not enough workers" thing.

Galvin is not a bench player, unless you play him in the front row rotation. His fitness is good, so put him in the starting 13.

Burton or Tracy going to the bench is a little interesting. I reckon though the Dogs are nuts changing their spine in this team.

You don’t know for sure that it’s the coaches directive. No coach would direct a player to go and push opposition players during stoppages in play. Mahoney is just a moron with low footy IQ. One afternoon a mate of mine slipped while getting into his well badged, khaki uniform.
Poor bastard got his tongue irretrievably caught in his woggle.
As a direct result, by the time we’d all progressed, he’d sadly become a “silent scout”

As a club, I feel we need to employ multi tasking types; people who can efficiently - scout for talent while also bickering about too much orange. 🤔
