Good point. The only thing I can think of is they have made an offer which they think is fair but he has rejected and they are happy for him to test the market to see his real value. Why move him on early though ? Pretty sure they will need a back up hooker next season..and he is signed cheap
Is it because of dumb and dumber here previously have infected our club like covid, you never know when a new strain is going to pop up. 😁Why do even smart operators such as Richo suddenly become stupid when they join our club ?
Who is Paul Bryan
Young prop. Debuted this year for the knights - played through after dislocating his shoulder very tough kid. What position did he play?
I think part of the issue is that up until recently, we needed to blood these kids in first grade due to our roster. Perhaps they get a bit ahead of themselves in regards to their value (they seem themselves as NRL players) and therefore they don’t show the required patienceWhat other team has their young players queuing to get out of the club ?

The other possible reason is that as a 14 he is a bit limited whereas some like Mason offers greater versatility not withstanding what we do if Api goes down.
Also there is a shortage of quality in crucial positions in the market. Da Silva has at least 5, perhaps more, clubs interested. Our club was always going to lose one of our hookers. The best outcome is that we receive a player(s) we want in return.I think part of the issue is that up until recently, we needed to blood these kids in first grade due to our roster. Well if Richo can get the Campbo upgrade done we may be able to keep more Campbo juniors.

Mitch woods hogged it last night .. absolutely refused to use the backs ..Had a good crack out of yardage. Only chance he got because he was underused (like every other outside back in NSW colours) in any type of attacking play.
Wtf have I missed? Can someone please fill me in or lis no me up? I have just gone back half a dozen pages.Fairdinkum. Do we give up the next 18 months of Da Silva to get KPP half a season early?
Simpkin would have to be the biggest flop I’ve seen. He was the next QLD #9 according to most tigers fans (myself included, I won’t lie) based on a few reserve grade highlightsIf TDS was really that good.I have no doubt we wld lock him in for 2027 ongoing. It wldnt be a conversation
But weve seen Liddle..seen Simpkin seen Cherry ..and several others as supposedly the next "big thing" at hooker...
...and they werent.
.just guys who were too slow to be an outside back,,,, too small to be a forward..and not always with a gr8 pass off the ground.n or exceptional vision or deception.
All of Apis attributes
They just fell into the hooker position by default
So Ill run with Richos judgement
