Tallyn Da Silva #270

Hes possibly distracted but....

Good bench hooker.
Ordinary starting hooker.

I'm a fan of TDS but, he isn't that guy.... yet.
Any team considering him for that role is making a mistake.

Jeez, our year just goes from bad to worse, each week. Honestly.

He's honestly not as good as Simpkin or Liddle. And they are bang average. I don't get the hype. He's poor

That's bullsh!t

Just looked at the Roosters team v Cowboys from last week.
Toia - 20 yo (origin rep)
Foketi - 19 yo
Steep - 20 yo
Ioelu - 20 yo

WT v Manly
Mason - 20 yo
Fainu - 20 yo
Da Silva - 20 yo
Laulilii - 19 yo

Granted, they're all spine players, and there needs to be some experience here.

But, it's not necessarily that they're young. It's that there isn't a proper development system at Wests Tigers. A big catchment with talent means fark all if you can't turn them into good footballers.

Roosters don't even have a catchment, but the bulk of their team made their debut for the club. They bring them in, teach them the fundamentals rather than fancy shapes that they can't execute without proper basic skills, and they are improving every week at roughly the same age. WT kids are getting worse.
The Roosters are a very different side to WTs.
