Its just the journos drumming up controversy..
From all accounts Jarome absolutely loves it here and is incredibly pumped to be part of the rebuilding process with Benji and Api. If there was no light at the end of the tunnell, he wouldn't have this mentality.
The same journos coming out saying that Benjis job is at risk, but Richo came out giving him his full support..
It does humour me how buzz Rothfield wants to bring up Benji's coaching ability, yet the sharks continue to decline year on year despite having a top 4 roster and we don't hear sh1t about the sharks or Fitzy... Buzz was on board with us through the Galvin saga but he's back to his same old self again..

He should remove his clauses then from his contract …obviously no need for them anymore ?

He wants to play for benji.
If Benji gets the boot, Jarome will leave for sure.
Whilst Richo and Benji are currently running the show, who knows what HBG push down the chain at any point in time.
I'm a tigers tragic, but I can understand the clauses at a club with the diabolical history that we have.

I suspect Jarome will need to decide soon enough if he wants to be mates with Benji or wants to win games.
We were winning before the LG bomb was dropped and ruined our season.

Whataboutism doesn’t make Benji any better. Fitzgibbon finished in the top 4 last year. Benji hasn’t shown he’s in the same stratosphere.

You are supporting one player dictating who the head coach is… this won’t end well …Luai is paid in the top 5 players in the game …. That should be enough for him
I still think this won’t stop Richo from punting Benji eventually… the board and HBG won’t be beholden to Luai for too long if he is trying to pull this crap
You can certainly make an excuse mate … yet here we sit on 5-11 for the season

What’s Jerome happy about ? An extra two hours driving every day or multiple losses in a row or talented juniors rushing out the door !
The only thing he would be happy about would be catching up with his old Penrith mates at the SOO camp.
Why don't you ask him next time your at a game?

Manly went through a similar situation with DCE and look how that's left them this season with a much better roster than us.... And they still have the playmaker they built their season around playing...
Benji hasn't had the same cattle..

Manly have Souths at home and then the Bye… they will be back in the 8 in 2 weeks ..still with their season alive

The cattle we have is not a bottom 4 team.
All speculative.. the point being look at what happened when all the talk came out and impact it had on their season at that point in time..
If he decides to leave, it wouldn't be the worse thing in the world.
Are we getting the 1.2M per year that he's worth?
