It crossed my mind but didn't want to say it what we have tried and failed 15-16 times in a rowIf we beat Warriors next week we will set ourselves up for 3 in a row against the Titans at Leichhardt.
I can see us beating Warriors but losing to the Titans in this scenario.
Raiders are coming 2nd we are "9th" but after today's win we go into the 8Any standouts? Our team is responding to the coaching of Sultana. Great win.
I’d almost forgotten we play at Leichhardt, when you look at Brooky full every game you realise how much you miss a proper home ground. It crossed my mind but didn't want to say it what we have tried and failed 15-16 times in a row
Hal,Tough call on Douehi, I thought he went ok, and couldn’t see much wrong with his kicking game. Plus 7/7 very useful when you’re down 5 tries to 4.
Luai has also failed to capitalise in the red zone many times this year.Hal,
Sorry mate but I saw if a little different. He kicked down the throat of Tedesco and Tupou time and time again, he kicked too deep so there was no pressure, and he kicked short instead of long just before half time. The kick returns hardly ever started from the corner to allow us to apply pressure with our defence.
Shoudl we even raise the two opportunites he had to seal the game and he couldn't get into position - not totally his fault as clearly most didn't know WTF was going on.
Apart from that his kicking was OK. He did some good things with the ball in hand and tried really hard.
Sorry to say, but it will be great to see him at another club in 26.
We shouldn't have to.Very very wrong...i agree the club need to take it up with the refs boss
Sorry mate - just replied to Hal on the saem topic. There were a few simple things I was looking for from his kicking game and they didn't materialise. Given the ckicking game is so improtant in the modern game I thought he missed the mark.I saw Doueihi's game differently. Showed a lot of leadership today. Thought his kicking was better than any of our other halves for the year, some nice passing e.g. for the Fainu try, defence was rock solid and his running was strong as ever. His goal kicking won us the day.
I don't think he is a front-line half anywhere in the NRL. He couldn't string 5 games like that together. He is a very serviceable back-up though.
100%So I feel dirty but I’m riding Manly home this afternoon. Hope they pummel Souths, we need to keep them behind us. They still gave 2 byes left and we have one. The good news is that both Parra and the Tits have used up all their byes and are still behind us 😁
I thought AD in the red sone wasn't too bad. My biggest criticism was his general kicking game. I doub't anywhere int he game plan it read - kick the ball straight to Teddy/Toupou so they can attack a staggered defensive line.Luai has also failed to capitalise in the red zone many times this year.
Some coaching needs to be invested in this area.
It's a lot of opportunities lost.
Well let’s do a comparison on Luai next game. Funny, when Moses and Cleary kick deep they’re lauded, but you’re saying AD stuffed it.Hal,

Now was AD responsible for a staggered defensive line, that’s the coaches job to have them moving as one, as all the good teams do.I thought AD in the red sone wasn't too bad. Sorry JollsHal,

that was a big win today to avoid the spoon … not a done deal yet though..So I feel dirty but I’m riding Manly home this afternoon. Hope they pummel Souths, we need to keep them behind us. I'm actually still so angry about this. They allowed them to watch the replay before challenging also.
