yeah you’ve got more chance of him in first grade before he gets put in flegg
 
Wests Tiger's are so dumb, the club never learns with our junior's, at a very young age we pump them up to all the other clubs before they play 1st grade after 1 or 2 years in 1st grade they always leave, we're bloody hopeless

Yeah true but Makasini had his fair share of publicity already and seems to have a good head on his shoulders without too much ego unlike others.

Bit of PR and to get back page on Origin day is phenomenal really! It helps reinforce local juniors are committed unlike some of the narrative lately.

The kid apparently weighs 108kg and based on pictures is around 6ft 5. I think when you are that much of a genetic freak, you can play first grade a lot sooner as an outside back (see Joseph Sualilii and Israel Folau).

And if Benji was happy to throw Luke into first grade when he was clearly underdeveloped physically, I think we will see Makasini sooner rather than later.

I hope he's doing plenty of gymnastics training and jumping leaps onto pads taking those overhead aerial catches ala Coates & Tupou. Imagine if he has that in his artillery and also really works with a pro kicker on his goal kicking!

yeah it’s a bit different with masi, other codes have been chasing him for years he’s had a lot of publicity around him for a long time, none being from the WT until recently.

to gauge an idea of size, look at when he comes up compared to the other kids in the video dude looks like hulk at 17 😂
 
Am I the only one that doesn't really see an issue? the front page of the paper is literally about Origin & the following 12 pages are also about the build up to the game. It seems to be a positive story & one that was probably influenced by Richo (given Reads the one dropping it)

The whole world has seen his video highlights and it's not the first time he's been in the press.
As long as his head doesn't swell up to the size of a watermelon there won't be a problem.
