Rugby League 26: Release date, platforms confirmed for new video game

The long-awaited return of rugby league to games consoles will arrive next month, after confirmation of the release date of Rugby League 26.

July 17th, 2025.

Been enjoying these games since the original came out in 2003 on the PS2

Unfortunately that is impossible since Anusley Klein and Sutton are all hard coded into the game just for the extra realism (It won't work without them)

Depends, if you liked the last one. The gameplay is almost identical. I don't mind it but I wasn't expecting anything near the quality of madden or Fifa.

Disappointing things for me is that there are no stats at all. I like stats in sports games.

Maybe we should set up an online league on here.

First game in career mode and you wouldn’t believe it I let in a try 30 seconds before half time.

I finished my first year, coaching, undefeated and beat Penrith 6 - 0 in the grand final.

The recruitment part seems quite difficult.
There isn't much talent on the market.

I did 5 years simulation just to see what happens and yeah, it's hard to land the big players.

I do like the fans satisfaction addition as well as how happy a player is to join the club lol, nice features.

Got players like Sione Fainu, Tony Sukkar and Viliami Fifita as fullbacks when they're forwards. I'm sure there's heaps like this but these the three I noticed.

Saw some one say they've put Kayo Stadium in Sydney.

It'll hopefully be addressed with an update.
