I hadn't been to any shows at Panthers Port Macquarie, didn't have any idea of the layout of the auditorium but jumped in nice and early and got tickets right at the very front of the tables closest to the stage.
And that could have been a big mistake, as the quality of the sound was terrible. My wife and I couldn't understand anything that was being said or the words to the songs, it was just reverberating noise...the sound quality at the back of the room may have been a lot better though.
I 😍 the drums and the drummer was really good.
But the drums seemed to overpower everything else, including the lead guitarist most of the time, which was a pity as you had asked me to comment on him.
There were a couple of songs though which did feature the lead guitar, and he was really terrific.
Overall, I thought the group as a whole put on a good performance.

You're one up on me with the stage dive and that's the way it's going to stay.
Ever seen a nearly 80 yo do a stage dive into a mosh pit? full of other 80yold's 😱.
I've got a feeling it wouldn't end well 😂.
 
Someone turned on the Awesome button for JJJ at the moment.

I have been listening a lot and it's been so dry, then the last month... just awesome music.

Look it's very retro 80's inspired sounds but just awesomesauce lately. I mean it's JJJ, good music followed by crap followed by WTF was that. But lately it's just been aweosme.
