Round 27 of the WTForum Tipping Comp is Hey Hey It's Saturday - now gone (but still loved!!) but not totally forgotten.
Our top scorers for Round 27:
WOW! Another very popular week of tipping, with SIX being the flavour of the day, where we had 6 equal top scorers with each picking SIX correct selections! These champions are (in no particular order): Bon Vivant, FirstPlaceFinn, Benjigriff1979, Edmund's Eagles, Cove St Tiger and rZEROd. Well done all.
Mind you, things were close way down the board; following, we had 3 x 5s, 6 x 4s, and 2 x 3s.

Looking now at the leader board as things sit, rZEROd is leading a merry chase, being comfortably four in front of the field with a great score of 135 points.
Magpie Pete remains in 2nd spot with 131 points.
Laine Lowe retains outright 3rd spot with 129 points.

And it all came down to this!
Round 31 (aka the Grand Final) of the WTForum Tipping Comp is a bit like those early Christmas mornings all those years ago - now just memories, but never forgotten.
(Especially when our Season 2025 WTForum Tipping Comp has a WINNER!)
After the Grand Final game, and the last round scores were tallied, our final tipping comp leaderboard was finally set and our finishing order after 31 intense weeks of tips (and prayers) is clear for everyone to see.
So with further ado, might we now view and reflect upon our tipping comp leaderboard for season 2025:
1st The Blue Ribbon par Excellence Award 2025 awarded to champion rZEROd who led a merry chase for much of the comp and is a very deserved WINNER – pretty much did a Winx and was uncatchable!
MASSIVE congrats!!
2nd Ken Irvine Memorial #2 Award awarded to Magpie Pete finished a very commendable 2nd place and nearly came away with the choccies, much like the original Irvine with consistent week to week determination.
HUGE congrats!!
3rd Mal Meninga #3 Centre Award awarded to Laine Lowe a defiant one out/one back for much of the comp and like Big Mal took out most in his way, and finished a memorable 3rd.
HUGE congrats.
4th Panthers FourNotFivePete Award awarded to happys heroes who relentlessly kept on, keepin’ on, with the winner just a tad too good at the end.
HUGE congrats.
5th Taniela Tuiaki #5 Right Wing Award awarded to FirstPlaceFinn who scored consistently throughout (and like Taniela just missed out on higher representation!)
HUGE congrats!
6th Mick Neill #6 Memorial Award awarded to Edmund's Eagles who scored consistently throughout and much like Mick, nipping at the leaders heels all the way!

7th Tommy Raudonikus Should-be-Immortal Award jointly awarded to Team Keanu and Team Normz and Benjigriff1979 and Bon Vivant – YES! A FOUR-Way tie for 7th place – all fighters here, just like Tommy!

8th Terrel May Immortal-In-Waiting Award awarded to Laroche Lions who scored pretty well, much like Terrel – consistent without the zip of the winner.

9th Royal Avalon 9th Hole (Only Bunker which is OK) Award awarded to Buttface11 whose scores kept him in the game for a “fair way” with the winner’s jacket gone elsewhere this time.

10th E10 Petrol Award awarded to WaiKru who scored well most weeks but at the end of the day, just lacked that extra torque.

11th Ben Galea Memorial G/F #11 Award jointly awarded to Suzie_Q and Atiger25 who (much like the Galea named in this award) just gave everything and proved to be thereabouts most weeks. (Richo - we have a new 2nd row pairing!)

12th Graeme Wynn First NSW Origin #12 Award awarded to Cove St Tiger who had some moments in the sun, much like the Graeme Wynn of this award.
