Rugby Union

I fear another arse whipping in Paris to give us the reverse clean sweep for the first time, and send us home with our tails between our legs.
Pity, Schmidt promised a lot but we just don’t seem to have the cattle anymore.

It might be even worse champion @Halbrowne61:

Record defeat to Ireland puts Wallabies on brink of worst tour in 67 years

(The Wallabies are just one defeat away from their first winless tour to Europe in 67 years)

A new era of international rugby is upon us
🤩

The top 12 nations from the Northern and Southern Hemisphere are set to compete every two years from 2026.

Will Australia qualify for the Top 12 ....aren't we ranked 10th in the world before the European Tour

Champion @happy_tiger:

The SANZAAR nations – South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Argentina – plus invitational teams Japan and Fiji, will represent the Southern Hemisphere in the new competition, play in the two existing international windows in July and November, against the Six Nations teams, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Wales and Scotland

That’s true, but we’ll beat France in a close one to retain some level of respect. It’s been another harsh wake‑up call tour for the ARU.

Yeah I did read that ......was just having a free kick at rugby while it is down

Wallabies flyhalf Carter Gordon has succumbed to a quad complaint, ruled out of Sunday’s (AEDT) Test with France at Stade de France. He is joined on the sidelines by Billy Pollard, who is out with a hip pointer issue.
Tane Edmed and Reds hooker Matt Faessler will slot into the starting side as Hamish Stewart and Josh Nasser come onto the bench.

Union in Australia is dead.
Whilst it’s withering on the vine T, its not completely dead,
But what was interesting to me is that some solid crowds turned up earlier this year when we went on a bit of run.
Success breeds success, the momentum is there if only we can offer an attractive and successful product.

it is when it went off kayo / foxtel
Exactly. How do you expect to grow the game when you only broadcast one weekly Super Rugby game on free to air.
Union still has its head up its arse. They don’t want to grow and attract anyone that doesn’t go to a private school. Wankers
