Galvin is a dog, so signed with the dogs .I agree his attitude was poor and I reckon he was playing a selfish style of football cause Benji aloud it to a degree so he wouldn't leave ,he always had 1 foot out the door..if the 2 of them got along it potentially could have turned into something good ..
Because it is relative to thinking about our projections for this year , with most agreeing the dramas did cost us games last season. Taking that into account, players gains and losses, improvements to younger players and relative improvements of other teams… I have us 8th.
I think a general comment is that the combination of Luai and Galvin did not work in the first half of 25 season. The subsequent combination of Luai and Doueihi did. Fainu didn't play enough for assessment. I want to go into 26 season without having to spend half the year trying to get combinations right. That should be sorted pre season.
We can only hope that the summer follows the script but with Latu and Doueihi's injury history that can leave you feeling a little nervous.
Because Luai needs someone to straighten up the attack and not crab across field
To be fair so does most players . Not everyone can do it ala Benji Marshall , Brett Kenny , where it actually creates something . Most times to most people it’s a complete waste of time , and a detriment more than anything .
Yes there’s good guys. And bad guys 😆. There’s some we remember fondly, like Brooksie , and there’s others like Galvin. 😆
They didn’t have much time to prepare together. Jarome didn’t start training until January. He also picked up a leg injury which forced him to miss a few sessions as they had to manage the injury
Don't think it was that at all at the end of pre season training when Galvin calls Luai the teachers Pet and Luai's face changes that's the moment
Absolutely that played a massive part. But they didn’t have as much time together as people may think.
