CEO - Shane Richardson

If Laundy goes through with an investment we won’t be anyone’s feeder team. He only sponsors the Mutts so he gets a return through advertising an networking. If he becomes a major owner of us he will throw everything into that basket because businessmen don’t like to lose on their investment.
Its my understanding he was a Tigers supporter.

It’s not just class either, it’s strategic brilliance. The way he reiterated that every decision was unanimous and minuted, noting the two HBG reps on the board, the praise he gave the staff, and Benji, the reminder to V’landys on his commitment about protecting the Wests Tigers fans, even the way he emphasised it’s the Wests Tigers.

It’s up there with the Mark Antony speech to the plebeians in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. And now HBG wants to replace him with Mestrov 😂.

This club never deserved Richo but as a Wests Tigers fan I’m incredibly grateful he was our CEO.

Also has anyone noticed the media hasn’t interviewed the players or Benji on it yet? They seem to be giving the playing group and Benji some respite and putting pressure squarely on HBG.
HBG didn’t like Richo doing the presser from the updated SMH article, bunch of ....:

HBG was not thrilled that Richardson, with 32 years in the business, called his own press conference after the four independent directors he championed, including chairman Barry O’Farrell, were removed last week.

Laundy and co would be a very different kettle of fish who would do his due diligence very thoroughly, so if he did get
Involved it would signed, sealed and delivered before he finally committed to anything.
And I’m not sure HBG and their debentures would excite him all that much.
Maybe a buyout would be his tack.
The issue is , the club would make money on the sale but the debenture gimps wouldn't make a cent and would lose the only thing they have which is power . So no way they ever vote to let that happen.

I'm pretty sure there are people in the leagues club that want to see these fools out too.

So HBG as an organisation isn't necessarily the issue, it's the immovable objects that maintain power.

If by some miracle they are forced to kill off the debenture system, then I'm confident they'll be swiftly voted out in favour of people with some sanity.

Yes he , has always been a Hugh tigers fan , but somehow, we stuffed up getting him on board .
I doubt he would buy the wests tigers now that he is in bed with the dogs , again another stuff by the club .
Just don’t under stand why MERTION don’t buy the club , its lose change for him , think this is the final nail in our clubs woes , new franchises due 2030 , and we will get punted
