Dude it's been explained thousands of times in multiple different ways.

The truth is they believe the debenture holders give them comfort that the Magpie will be protected and a Magpie agenda pushed where possible. It's the only thing that matters to them.

They genuinely think unrest against HBG is Balmain driven and not driven by WT fans on the merits of their poor leadership.

For them, time hasn't moved from 1999. The world they live in only includes Balmain and Wests fans....they cannot imagine a world that includes a WT fan.

Yeah, I know it will never change until they are dealt with, it's a removed the brain and put in a magpie thing.

I think at its core its basically a mailing list of all WT supporters that want to see change at the club. One thing I noticed in the lead up to this event was the amount of miscommunication and misleading information. Creating WT Unite will mean there is now a single channel of communication.

Not sure what part of my comment u are asking the perspective question about, however, lack of organised comms is my view/experience. So many podcasts/forums actually dilutes and fragments the messaging to the supporter base. This is potentially a way to create a substantial database of supporters. What they do with the info and what messages they send is not clear as yet. In my original comment i asumed it would be related to the same messages they spoke about today....independent board, stable governance, support of the team and HBG accountable to members and supporters.

Our choices seem to be that HBG continue their reign of incompetence or this new protesting group lead by podcasters and that pussy mayor take to the streets every time they disagree with a decision.

I'm sceptical to sign up to anything yet until I know more about it, but if it looks to me like it could be the catalyst for change I will get involved.

Just had a gut full of these pricks.

Decisions like Benji yesterday are just insane even he looked embarrassed, I want him to succeed but that was just a knee jirk decision that only these clowns could make because they were expecting backlash, dare I say pissing their pants.

HBG are the only ones with power & aren’t happy when they lose it.

The others you mentioned want the club to have an independent board not a board controlled by HBG - they don’t want power within the club.

Darcy was the one that promoted it....his words were along the lines of giving supporters a voice. The main thrust was anti HBG and their archaic debenture system and support of an independent board...so i guess if those things dont resonate with you, dont bother signing up. Also said he is giving HBG till the first trial at leichhardt to get their act together...if they dont than the protests kick off again, starting at that game.

BTW re Structure. Most structures start out kinda crap, then issues happen and structures improve.
It's ok for a movement 2 weeks old to start sorting themselves out.

I am open to other ideas.

If were split, we say were split. i.e. "41% of the fans we asked would like to play at Campbelltown stadium, 52% said Leichhardt oval, 6% said Homebush and 1% said Dave's backyard".

But we can make statements, like "we should not Fire Shane Richardson" If say the polling is 70%+
Which going by this forum I think is fair, people wanted to keep SR.

End of the day it's a voice. That should be reflective of our fanbase.
