I actually *liked* the post so that while trawling through literally 100's of posts I could find where I was up to, when I got home from work at 9.00pm ... geez, people take things to heart.

MY team is WESTS TIGERS. I don't want to hear magpies or Balmain. I don't want commentators calling them Magpies or Balmain, but by the same token, I won't get my knickers in a twist when they are called Wests or Tigers.

A lot of you also forget that while we are 'moderators', we are fans first. We don't do this for anything other than to keep the forum running. We are allowed to hold opinions and thoughts. We are not required to be neutral in how we follow the team, but in how we implement the rules of the forum. I'm *this* close to signing out of here, and walking away from all of this garbage and letting you all have at it!

There's a very simple fix to this sitch~~~tell the anti HBG mob to pull their heads in OR~~~drop out of the JV.

I still think we’ll have some success through pressure on HBG - I don’t know what will happen but 99% of the Wests Tigers fan base is completely fed up and they’d be feeling that. I want to support this team in 2026 so hopefully HBG make some impactful decisions/changes.

I agree and I’m hopeful that’s a condition PVL puts on the licence if it is to remain with HBG.
I believe a fair compromise is for that to happen and in return there is an agreement that our NSW Cup team structure does not change at least for the next few years.

HBG don't need to compromise, and what you said is the furthest thing from a compromise I could imagine.
In fact, it's a ridiculous suggestion.

If you had left the past behind, you would recognise HBG/Wests Ashfield and Wests Magpies are the rightful owners~or however you choose to spin the word of WTs.

NO! MOST DEFINITELY NOT!!!

90% owners or not, any board that doesn't successfully please all their fans are doing the wrong thing.
There could be bias shown [unintentional but it happens] on rare occasions, but that is human nature.
But I suppose in theory with a 90-10 majority, some boards could take advantage of that.
If the anti-HBG lobby decide to accept HBG after both sides talking as adults, and both sides of our JV offer an olive branch, I see NO reason why they shouldn't all join hands and sing kumbaya as they dance around the boardroom table following BOF😀.

Long bow to draw. I'm sure you're familiar with the term situational awareness. The current unrest is a result of a magpies centric agenda coming from factions within the HBG. Part of the discussion on here is to determine what people prioritise; the Wests tigers or the Wests magpies. If your offended because someone called you a magpie supporter, you probably need to get out more.. fyi I have no issue with people being loyal to the old magpies, I respect it, but when they become priority over the joint venture Wests tigers, then it becomes a problem - it isn't as deep seeded as some seem to make it out to be (not for me anyway).

In my time on here I have not read one post where someone from the MAGPIE side of the JV has prioritised the Magpies over the Wests Tigers except in a few cases of obvious fact.
