If Richo was the problem, why did hbg sack the board and not Richo? Why did DP come out and say that Richo was safe, if Richo was the problem? What exactly did the board members do?

As long as you come on here promoting theories in your head as fact without any evidence, I will question you.. don't take it personally either - nothing personal, just answer the question and we can all move forward.

It’s clearly about control and hence the new WT board structure that flies in the face of the independent review a couple of years ago. This is why the WT Unite group will continue pushing for independence. Anybody suggesting we need to wait and see how they go needs to look back over the last 10 years or so.
You don’t need 10 years on training wheels to learn how to successfully run an NRL club. Time to let those with proven skillsets to do it. What a shame we had that in place only to blow it up and again remind the NRL community what a joke we really are. A loveable joke for many of us who can’t let go evidently.

I’ve got no issue with Magpies staffers being focussed on the Magpies. You’d expect this to be the case. Just leave WT to run WT and with only WT interests in mind, not what’s best for Balmain or Magpies. If loyalists on either side of the JV want to use WT to advance their club than they need to stay out of our club and just toil away in theirs exclusively.

The more I think about it, we need to remember total Incompetence. Sadly many conspiracy theories can be explained that way as well.

Maybe Burgess forgot about the GM's clause that if the Independent members are sacked he is out of there. I doubt it and it looks like he is being set up with that "anonymous allegation". But hey Idiots!

Am I in the Twilight Zone?

A week ago I was getting badgered for asking questions regarding our lack of any real knowledge of the situation because all we had to go on was reports & beliefs based on history.

Now the "Wests Magpies/HBG Apologists" are getting badgered for sophistry & being dogmatic.

The wheel certainly does turn.

What were those 'circumstances'? With two HBG members on the Wests Tigers board how did they allow those 'circumstances' to eventuate? Incompetence?
I have still not seen any believable explanation from HBG about their reasoning, or a description of the mysterious 'circumstances'. Unless and until they disclose their reasoning, I will continue to believe that their actions were incompetent at best. Just like their feeble attempt at a video explanation that was quickly retracted.
Not at all the level of competence of any organisation I would want controlling the future of my club.

You come on here, often with a huge gap in factual information, and try to refute the obvious or things already proven to be true.

I know you're an old Wests fan, but trying to come off as objective isn't really working for you.

i actually commend the *by laws* of the site. Somewhere to chat about Wests juniors only, and their development.
Sure a few pensioners here could scrape together the purchase of a pack of Sao's and join the circle, and leave us WestsTigers supporters to ponder amongst our selves
