Yes BF - but I'm sick of this incident overriding every victory
From what I've been told it was Warner but he was crazy angry the day before as South African team management were posting on social media things that were calling his wife a sl*t .Surprised that Aust ream management didn't lodge some official complaint .Think he lost his head ,he wanted to attack De Kok in the stairwell .This was the day before. He lost his head
Don't know about you but I would be crazy angry if someone posted something like that about my wife .
It was like revenge ,Dumb ,got caught , got by far the biggest punishment in the history of cricket . They got caught before the ball was actually tampered with but the intention was clear
By the way Michael Atherton punishment for ball tampering was $3700
Read an article on the "roar " by Ronan Connell in 2019 detailing English ball tampering .Not a fan of hypocrisy
After all these years why after everytime we win this topic becomes the major talking point
It happened years ago .Got caught got huge punishment .
Get on with life .Even criminals get paroled
Just want to enjoy winning without mud thrown over it

I thought it was weak as piss for the Australian captain at the press conference when that blew up, turn to the rookie sitting beside him and say “Wanna explain?”. Disgraceful that he threw that kid under the bus.

My Aussie niece is married to a nice( cricket mad) British chap who has swapped birthday/ Xmas presents for the next 10 years so he can come out here and attend the 5 days in Melbourne and 5 days in Sydney.
He is drooling at just being here, irrespective of the 3-0 score line. Just shows how passionate these Pommy supporters are about an Ashes tour down under.
He arrives in Melbourne Xmas Eve.

I dont believe New Zealand has been caught doing ball tampering so next year, all good to mention sandman steve smith cheating again when the kiwis come over

Don't wish to make any more comment on cricket except to say I'm an Aussie and I support all Aussie sports .

Dave went on tilt. You gotta expect a few digs if you’re gunna marry someone whose claim to fame is having a root in a toilet with an athlete twice the size of you. I’m guessing everything of SBW is twice the size of Davey, and I’m pretty sure the Saffers were asking that very question. Dave went on tilt while representing Oz, on national tv, bringing the game, team, country, captain and his younger opening partner, into his inability to keep his emotions and mental weakness in check. It took a while for me to forgive Dave, and Smith. But the punishment handed out was a bit OTT, but it was as heavy as it should have been the very first time someone did it and maybe no one does it again. Ruined a young blokes career, there is no punishment worse for a young cricket player.
I do find Jedi’s hate red for Smith illogical due to the above and by that standard anyone who cheats anywhere at anything he should hold to the same standard. I heard when Stokes went on a scooter they didn’t wear helmets, that is cheating the system, so he should hate England and everyone who has ever played for them.
I have read many things on ball tampering, everyone does it but no one admits to it, and if you haven’t then you haven’t played.
