Don't really understand why some people feel the need to be overly antagonistic on this forum.

I've obviously had a different stance to many on here but for the most part- people debate things reasonably respectfully (mostly).

Cochise & I are obviously seeing things from different angles, but I have to say- dude has been remarkably even tempered considering you respond to EVERY question thrown your way (often in baiting format). Kudos to you.

Nobody has to agree with every point. Trying to belittle people to make your own is generally the sign of not having a good enough argument of your own.

Thanks mate, I do for the most part try to debate things reasonably. One particular poster does tend to drag me in and I should avoid that.

I do enjoy discussing with you though.

The root of the problem Chad is that the pro HBG side of the argument just won't admit that their board acted in an unprofessional manner and made poor decisions for our club.

If they would just admit to that weeks ago that they stuffed up there would be probably half as many pages in this thread, but they keep living in denial.

While I agree with you partly- they don't NEED to admit it.

Your point is your view. It's the view of a bunch of people. But it completely dismisses whatever the "Pro HBG" crowd put forward.

I'm not saying you are right or wrong. Just that the line of thinking- if they just admit HBG stuffed up- dismisses anyone's opinion that HBG didn't stuff up.

Mate the club has been on struggle street for over a decade. Players and coaches have come and gone, along with administrators, there has only been one constant and that is a total shambles called HBG. If they were a board that were answerable to shareholders they would have been turfed out years ago. In a industry that is judged on results we need a board who is also judged on results

Yep- it's not like they are being judged on one bad year or one bad decision this is just the latest one - after they had a year that most people were satisfied with!
If that doesn't reek of self interest ahead of what's best for the club - I'm missing something.
Those who continue being defensive do so with some attachment that is more important to them than success of WTs

Some of that is quite obviously true.

Funny thing- we talk about a club with massive turnover of coaches & administrators.

Justin Pascoe was CEO for 8 years.

Lee was at the Tigers for 4 years on the board

The upheaval has really only come after their removal- which everyone was calling for. Were HBG formally accused of not changing often enough?

As has been explained to you in the past. I am a School Teacher, not currently working in education. I am not happy with Facebook privacy settings so the space is an attempt to make it a little harder for students to find my personal Facebook page.

Everyone should. Identity theft , people with an issue , potential employers HR teams , anybody with an axe to grind … all can get a hold of your online footprint and build a picture that can be 100 accurate … but more often 💯 inaccurate portrayal of who you are .
Anybody who is questioning someone’s desire to limit thier digital footprint IMO is a moron . An uneducated fool . The type who ends up on A current affair about being duped by Nigerian princes . And the reason that I call them morons isn’t because of the mistake . But rather the ignorance and arrogance to not only have the limited knowledge on this subject , but the ignorance to call out someone who does have the info and is protecting themselves .
