Mate my name is on every single podcast I'm on, my face is too. I run events at games where people on here talk to me in person.

As has been explained to you in the past. I am a School Teacher, not currently working in education. I am not happy with Facebook privacy settings so the space is an attempt to make it a little harder for students to find my personal Facebook page.

Everyone should. Identity theft , people with an issue , potential employers HR teams , anybody with an axe to grind … all can get a hold of your online footprint and build a picture that can be 100 accurate … but more often 💯 inaccurate portrayal of who you are .
Anybody who is questioning someone’s desire to limit thier digital footprint IMO is a moron . An uneducated fool . The type who ends up on A current affair about being duped by Nigerian princes . And the reason that I call them morons isn’t because of the mistake . But rather the ignorance and arrogance to not only have the limited knowledge on this subject , but the ignorance to call out someone who does have the info and is protecting themselves .
If you agree with @BZN on this subject . Not only are you completely incorrect on this subject , but actively and will fully stupid regarding it .
The biggest threat to your person moving forward will come from the internet .

That's a lot of words with absolutely no sensible meaning. And your words will have even less meaning when this latest breakaway group action FAILS to unseat HBG and Balmain is told to go and play somewhere else.

To be honest, I don't want him punted and would prefer his original comment to have not been removed as people have seen it and I would prefer to be allowed to address his comment instead of it just disappearing.

I spent 20 years as a teacher working in roles right up to the principal level and may one day wish to return to that field. His comments paint me as unfit to work in that industry and simply isn't true.

I chose to move to a different industry for a change, I have managed people and organisations in my previous roles and those skills transferred to my new role.

I chose to have a space in my Facebook name to make me less visible in that that form of social media and less contactable by former students and their families as I do not want to be Facebook friends with people I have taught in the past.

I have had my account that way in various forms for many years, yes it is probably less important now as I work in a different industry and through the pod have more of an online presence than I did then.

It is my choice to leave it that way and I shouldn't have to explain all this to anyone and it is not because I caused harm to my students.

I understand why his comments needed to be deleted but I also want the opportunity to set the record straight.
