The Wighton penalty

I thought the blatant Sheppard in the first Souths try was worse. I also agree there was poor decisions both ways through the game.
Don’t remember the first try but there was a play on their left where someone flat out just ran behind two Souths players. Might have been Mitchell.

This one didnt bother me as much. I thought it was the type of game we'd usually lose by 40. In the end it was a 4 point loss to a team who will also be on the fringe of the 8. Will it matter come round 27? Maybe. But we have plenty of time to make up for it... We are still 5th. The next few weeks is going to be tough though.
Of course it will matter unless we make the 8 anyway…

It's also a dumb grub move.

I kinda wondered why he did it. If it was something he got early in his career when people targetted him.
Or
just a grub who will grub.

Lately, I have been pretty down on Wayne Bennett. He clearly is coaching some grub into his sides... I mean he must be, Latrell never got penalised for this when he played for Easts 😉
