We finally look like we have 2 big mobile edge forwards that can play 80 minutes and you want to move 1 of them 🤷‍♂️

The logic is to get the ball in Samuelas hands as much as possible.

Samuela is the most damaging runner in our team, yet he had 9 hit ups against the bunnies. Its a complete waste. Long term, i agree he is our left edge backrower.

But for our immediate needs right, id prefer see him taking 20+ hit ups and giving our halves more time and space with the ball.

I dont think we lose much by pushing sione to 11 and gain far more pushing samulea to prop with 20 runs a game.

Separately, id be starting sione over pole this week..

I agree we need to see more of Samuela but it’s about earlier ball out wide. Our set up plays for shifts need a lot of work. Slow PTB’s from our middles drive me nuts.

As you can possibly guess I don’t agree with you on Sam Fainu, but swapping Pole and Sione could be good for Pole coming on against tired players instead of starting.

Hey Hal so AD is on the team sheet but still maybe they’ll swap him out. If he plays he won’t stretch out and if he does he may end up coming off and screw our rotations. It seems awfully risky to play him.

I reckon they aim to win the possession by a margin and it’s working. Big men running hard up the middle with little risk.

Get Six agains and wait for opposition errors. They have been running away with games late.

Need to get an early lead to put their plan in a tailspin.
