Players are simply paper trading cards in this thread. Straight swaps...back of a napkin trade conditions and salary calcs and Robert's your fathers brother.
But mate, we hold the cards. In what world would we trade Tracey for bula? Are we the bulldogs little whipping boys? Make him see out 2027 and hunt for another fullback. It buys us another 12-18 months

Strategy - find a player listed as Wing/Fullback and proceed to tell everyone how he'd make a good prop @ the tigers.
If Bula was leaving anyway so that we avoid a $900k per year long term contract and Tracey was on $350k per (which I believe he is) I could see us doing the “swap”. Tracey offers good backline depth (centre, wing, fullback) so even if we got him for two (or three) years it wouldn’t be blocking Attard or Brookes (the money is not high enough). Tracey’s versatility would still mean he could have a role elsewhere or on the 6 man bench for the remainder of his contract.
Sorry Wiz, I hate it. We don't need another utility, we need a fullback who can compliment our spine and take us deep in the semi finals. Tracy doesnt do that. Attard is no where near ready. Unless we have another 900k fullback to replace him with, then we suck it up and pay Bula - because hes a better option than Tracy.

Bula can sign with the Bulldogs Nov 1 this year for 2028…. Do you think we will get our $900k value out of him on 2027 if that happens ?

There's a few wingers in NSW / QCup I'd gladly swap him for.
I think it comes down to the character of the individual. I think bula has far more class than any of those other wankers
Skelton is only contracted for this year.
He's became 1 of the boys it seems.

Well if bula thinks he is a class fullback and deserves BIG money , he should watch TEDDY tonight , he is always on the ball , would take teddy for two years on $900,000 a season , he would be better value than bula , who thinks he is a gun

I actually feel that Logan Brooke’s is the more talented of the 2 .. Logan sounds like he loves playing footy, thinks about the game a lot and he is really quick, strong and loves taking on the line… he really reminds me of Cameron Munster at the same age,, strong fast and skilful

i agree i just hope the club give him a serious crack, would hate to lose him.. great listen today on the WTF poddy, logan is on there, sounds a very grounded kid who loves the club
