I would be telling Parramatta to sod off so quickly it would make your head spin .., they pick up players mid contract from us and nothing in return … give them nothing !!!
They can take on Toa’s remaining contract though if they are desperate

Club would be stupid to lend any players out last year I think I counted we used 14 different players in the back 5
And what happens in say 15 weeks time we have a bad run of injuries do we just give up on the season

Agree on Moses. Not sure what the go is with Ryles. He started well by recruiting Jack Williams and Dylan Walker. But others like Hopgood and Da Silva have gone backwards. Jack De Belin Seemed like a WTs signing of past years.

Yeah what’s happened to Hopgood? He was progressing nicely as a young NRL forward. His uncle used to be one of the local sales reps.

Great value for money 😁
Parra finished last season on fire with some great wins in the last 3 rounds, unlike us who whimpered out the season with terrible losses to both the Titans and Cowboys. I actually thought they were on the up and would do well this season, so I don’t really know why suddenly the wheels have fallen off. Injuries of course are playing a huge part, but even before some of those players went down they looked flat.

Not sure I necessarily agree..They beat the full strength Broncos and could have beat us if not for a couple of last minute penalties …
They were absolutely terrible against the Titans last week though …they got the Bulldogs and Sea Eagles next 2 weeks … they got to find a way to win one of those two games otherwise they might be in the spoon race …

The joint venture is sitting in second place on the NRL ladder, with four wins out of five games, with one loss to their credentials. Benji Marshall has his side humming as they made light work of the equally impressive Newcastle Knights last week.
Jarome Luai will return to the halves alongside Adam Doueihi, who is in career-best form after finding his position as the chief playmaker of the Tigers' side. It will see the electric Jock Madden revert to the bench, giving Marshall plenty of good selection headaches after seeing Madden hit elite form in the last three weeks.
Although it's the way they have gone about business on the paddock that has Johns and former rugby league legend Brad Fittler raising eyebrows on whether they are genuine contenders for the title.
Johns and Fittler spoke on Wide World of Sports Freddy and the Eighth surrounding where the Tigers' ceiling is currently at, and what great lengths they can get to in 2026.
"They're doing all the effort areas really well, they're working as a team," Fittler said.
"When I was commentating on the weekend, I was just watching, especially when the game got a little bit of fatigue in it ... [they were] coming out of trouble easy, there was no stress.
"Jock Madden was doing a great job with his kicking, they had plenty of strike everywhere, Adam Doueihi was on the left side, over on the right you had Jahream Bula, who just moves so well, and Sunia Turuva.
"... I think across the park they're just playing so much better as a team, and they've got strike, they've got points."
Johns, the eighth Immortal, has commended their ability to have a fearless attitude and credited coach Benji Marshall for having the side absolutely firing on all cylinders to start the year.
When host Danika Mason asked whether the Tigers will feature in the business end of the year, Johns declared they can still go up another gear.
Yes," Johns said on the program.
"I thought Freddy said a good thing then; they're playing without fear, they're playing with freedom, and that's the way Benji Marshall played and obviously that's the way he's coaching.
"They're backing themselves, they're playing with great movement of the ball and high energy, but they're playing without fear of making an error, and when it sticks, they're hard to beat."
The Tigers are building to something special, with sell-out crowds at Campbelltown, the fans are finally being rewarded for years of poor results.

Lots of players coming off contract at the end of next year. It would be great to see what else is available in the market. Although you have to think if we can keep this squad together for the next 3-4 years, we could be in a premiership window.
I think Samuela will command more money if he continues how he's going. I see Haumole Olakau'atu as a similiar player who is on approx. 875K per year. His overall deal is 7mil over 8 years and that was signed in 2023 ..

True that, but they did start the season very badly also getting smashed by the Storm, who themselves haven’t been playing very well. Two 50 plus drubbings in the space of 6 weeks doesn’t bode well for their hopes. If anyone knows that it’s us Tigers fans!
God 6 rounds in and he’s backing us to go all the way? Really, you’d think a bloke that actually played the game would know better than to make a call like that.
