Swansea City climbed into the Championship's top 10 as Zan Vipotnik's contentious penalty proved the difference in a 2-1 victory at Queens Park Rangers.

Ronald gave Swansea the lead as he capitalised on a defensive error to score for the first time in 41 appearances after only two minutes at Loftus Road.

QPR had been second best for long spells, but set up a tense climax when Paul Smyth's drive was pushed on to the bar and Rhys Norrington-Davies headed in the rebound from a couple of yards out.

Millwall returned to the Championship's automatic promotion spots as well as guaranteeing at least a place in the play-offs with a 3-1 victory at Stoke City.

Goals from Camiel Neghli and Femi Azeez put the Lions in control at the bet365 Stadium.

Before a Caleb Taylor own goal opened the door for an unlikely comeback for the Potters.

However, Josh Coburn made up for a poor miss with his ninth league goal of the season to seal all three points for the visitors and send Alex Neil's side second in the table, with Ipswich Town playing on Wednesday.

An incredible ending sees Leeds United pick up a point to move them nine clear of the relegation zone as they grab a very very late draw 2 all with Bournemouth

  • Manchester City 1 nil win over Burnley at Turf Moor to move top of the Premier League on goals scored
  • Burnley's defeat means they suffer relegation back to the Championship
  • Erling Haaland scores only goal after five minutes

Middlesbrough come out 1 nil winners over Sheffield Wednesday

Morgan Whittaker marked his return to Middlesbrough's starting line-up with the winning goal as Boro laboured to a 1-0 Championship victory over relegated Sheffield Wednesday at the Riverside Stadium.

Whittaker had been absent for four games before returning as a late substitute in the 2-2 draw at Ipswich Town on Sunday, and he scored the only goal, as part of a workmanlike performance from Boro that was enough to earn all three points.

I saw this morning 100 days until Chelsea vs Spurs in Sydney. A bit different from when this game was first announced.

Chelsea have lost their last 5 and Spurs may not be an EPL club.

Macarthur FC enjoyed a perfect finish to their 2025/26 Isuzu UTE A-League Men season, thumping Wellington Phoenix 4-0 at Campbelltown Stadium with plenty to celebrate on Friday night.

The crushing win was just the tip of the iceberg as the Campbelltown crowd celebrated Damien De Silva’s career and witnessed magic on the pitch as Luke Brattan scored a stunner and brothers Henrique and Bernardo combined to wrap up the campaign in style.

It took little more than half an hour for the bulk of the damage to be done as Macarthur were unrelenting right from the opening whistle, bursting out of the blocks and taking the lead five minutes in.

A string of set pieces and balls in the box put the pressure right on and Wellington couldn’t handle the heat as Bill Tuiloma bundled Matt Jurman’s volley into his own net.
