Shaun Johnson predicted Adam Doueihi to be the Dally M Halfback of the Year for 2026. I thought it was a crazy prediction, but as of round 8 he is within touching distance of Nathan Cleary.

I reckon Thursday was his best halfback game. He's still unconventional but is improving his halfback play each week and he'd be right up the top in try involvements.

Yes he does. At the moment he’s scoring and we’re winning so it’s covered, but I would love to see him pass when it’s on, it will take him to the next level.
