Ok, after seeing Hammer fall on Wishart's legs, I officially don't know what a hip drop tackle is.
I don't want to be a dibby dobber but can someone either refer the Hammer to the match review committee or at the very least take a week or two off Api's suspension.

Other than that, I don't mind if Tyran Wishart is unavailable next week.

It's okay if Hammer does it. There's some talk about Wishart twisting, which apparently makes it alright. Last week Zelezniak was binned last week when he didn't even land on the guy's legs.

Meanwhile, little guys like Api and Nikorima get pinged because they are small and end up trailing after bigger players they're trying to tackle like streamers. Once airborne, they are gonna fall.

Zero consistency by the NRL.

Critter tried to milk one bad last night. No penalty. Limping around then suddenly he was cured taking a 15m hit up.

Yep - nobody gave a shit about our coaches having to front up at pressers week after week of absolute humiliation. If he is that sick he shouldn't come out and say he is fine to coach.
Wah wah wah. None of our coaches were in the early stages of Parkinson’s either. The club probably knew he’d be getting questions about his health last night, even though they said that was the last they would speak on it. They were just looking out for him

He's either well enough to be an NRL coach or he isn't. Part of being an NRL coach is fronting up to the press conference.
If his health is such that he can't handle it then step down and convalesce. You can't have a bet each way.
It'll be interesting to see if Melbourne are fined, we all know the answer to that.
Fined for what? Assistant coaches turn up to pressers all the time. There is no rule that states it has to be the head coach. Fine 😅

Is that the diagnosis?
Parkinsons is one of a few Neuro degenerative diseases...MND and Alzheimers too

Ive no problem with the Storm doing what they did at the presser, Bellamy has more than enough to deal with without having to cop vultures in the media questioning his health....this is shattering news for anyone and compassion and empathy is whats required in this situation

He’d be getting all sorts of questions

“Do you think your diagnosis is affecting the results?”
“Have you considered standing down?”
“Considering retirement?”
“How long do you think you can do this?”

The media are vultures. They don’t care, they just want a quote. There was nothing to be gained for Bellamy to front up. And he wouldn’t have fronted up if they won either. The club weren’t hiding him from a loss. They were protecting him from invasive questions.

I don't agree Hammer did anything wrong, however neither did Api in my opinion.

In both circumstances the attackers got themselves in bad positions or got their foot caught as was it was in Api's case.

I watch all the post match press conferences and the only time an assistant coach does them is when the coach wasn't coaching the game and the assistant had taken over for the week.
So yeah, nah they don't.
There actually IS a rule that they have to turn up. Do you think Ricky Stuart and Wayne Bennett go because they want to?
Finally, Frank the Fruiter isn't an assistant coach.
He can rant and rave for 80 minutes, kick chairs, swear, carry on like a pork chop but can't handle a couple of questions.
He just can't handle losing.

Yeah. Has zero to do with it being one of the toughest weeks of his life 😒

You that desperate to see him squirm, despite everything going on? Says a lot about you 🤨

Why do people put it out there in the media that they have a medical problem and then ask for privacy, when nobody would've had a clue they had a problem if they hadn't mentioned it?
