Manly had talented players with X factor. Speed in saab and Koula. Power in Paseka and Haumole.

Problem is, there were many calls that werent even close to 50/50, they were blatantly wrong. If they were all 50/50 id cop it on the chin and say we needed to be better.

I understand but if you get a few bad calls and still let in 48 points then you are a mentally weak team. Do you think the Panthers blame ref calls when they are playing? They rest and stop the next set. This team folds like water. Missing tackles is one thing if you runup with intent. Sit back and miss tackles and your just a passenger.

Losing May is another kick in the guts - the reality is we can not compete currently with the players that are available to us despite the wishful thinking that goes with the throw away "next man up", theory.

Really because Brisbane with Walsh, Mam, Hunt in the spine lost by 28 to Manly last week same as we did with Hope, Madden and Mason in our spine

Brisbane were given a chance to compete, the tigers were not.

To be fair he isn't a hooker, he's a half. Lots of potential but so many injuries. It's a worry because him being a utility isn't developing him in his best position. He and Andrews were very good in a well beaten cup team a few weeks back. Not sure what to do with him. He didn't look confident today.

He is a half or a five eight and i don't think i have seen him in that position for even a minute this year. He needs to be back in the halves and now. if anything i would move Luai to half and let Latu play a running game from Five eight.

I thought Roberts was good, some mistakes 1st game with us I can live with that he made a nice break that was good to see

The team had too many small players in it and Manly exploited them, Benji should go with a bigger team after the bye if injuries allow it.

No one except salary cap cheats like roosters, donkeys have that amount of depth to win games. 6 of our best players are out, now it looks like two more. The eels have more players out, but there mostly reserves and second string players. Same as the donkeys they had Walsh out but otherwise a totally intact backline. U have to actually look at what players are out to compare, which most halfwit commentators don’t have the intelligence to research!!

Fair. We still have to build a squad if we want to compete. Rabbits copped this last year. Drop off is too big for us.

You hear about how good he is. Some claim he’s even better than Galvin. So why is he spinning his wheels as a nowhere man. Give him a role.

I think you are being a bit hard on Mason. He had had more hit ups than anyone in the team. He tried hard though has limited ability.

I think you and some others are mistaking my position against the officiating as giving the performance a free pass, I am not.

The issue is that what should have been more of a 26-16 scoreline blew out to 46-16, because there was obvious intent to apply "interpretations" to one side and not the other. Its not a conspiracy, its the truth. We were on the good end of this stick in round 2 vs the cowboys. The cowboys were referred out of the game.

There are games this season that have clear bias, the sort of bias that teams like penrith never see.

I personally dont think the tigers were given the same ability to compete as manly were today. Its like asking a boxer to fight 6 rounds before his title match 30 minutes after. There is a clear disadvantage for that boxer.

Yes the Madden love didnt last long. His game has been impacted by the injuries like everyone else. Singling out the blokes that are trying to keep it together is stupid because they are all struggling.
